Laura is an Aston for Pilates teacher, first aid trained, fully insured and CRB checked and is based in Axminster. Laura travelled to Nevada USA, to obtain a qualification in Aston for pilates, ergonomics, and movement coaching. She is currently one of five in the Uk who has this qualification. What ever the reasons are for taking up pilates, whether it be for, Sciatica, Hyper-mobility, back issue

s, MS, pregnancy, toning, or stretching. Laura helps people discover what they can achieve with in their body, and will help put in place the tools necessary for whatever life may through at us.

Reformer Pilates isn’t just for the elite — it was originally designed for rehabilitation, support, and precise movement. The reformer gives you feedback and awareness of your body in a way that other forms of movement often can’t.

I’m Laura, and Pilates has been part of my life for over 30 years. My own journey began as a young ice skater needing to strengthen and correct lower back issues caused by the demands of my sport. That experience led me to discover the incredible benefits of Pilates.

I qualified 20 years ago and have never looked back. Over the years I’ve seen the method evolve and even travelled to the USA to study advanced movement and body mechanics. I’m currently one of only a handful of practitioners in the UK trained in this unique approach.

I can’t wait to share my world-travelled knowledge with you and support you on your own Pilates journey — helping you feel stronger, freer in your movement, and more connected to your unique body design.

What an amazing first contact day delivering first Pilates Training course! 🙌✨

This week has been a challenging one. Non-stop juggling, caring for my husband after surgery on his broken foot, and trying to keep life moving for the children too. Two weeks post-op, 3 plates and 6 screws later, his pain is finally becoming more manageable — and that feels like a win.

Today, I had a rare moment to pause. I sat with a good book while the children played, and for a little while everything felt peaceful. A small reset before another busy week ahead.

It reminded me how important it is to take care of ourselves too. To stay strong, mobile, and resilient for the moments life really tests us.

Movement is medicine.
