📸 Fun photo opportunities – perfect for capturing those wonderfully mad moments!

🐶 Meet like-minded dog lovers – come along, make new friends and enjoy an afternoon with fellow dog people.

🎩 Take part in our Mad Hatter Competition – and see if your dog can be crowned our Maddest Hatter! 👑🐶

🎩 HOW TO ENTER THE MAD HATTER COMPETITION 🎩

You can either:
✨ Create your own fabulous mad hat at home and bring it along (or take a photo of your dog wearing it!)
✨ Choose one of our mad hats at the event and get your pup ready for their moment in the spotlight!

Can't make it to the event? Don't worry – you can enter our competition online too! 🐾

Simply send us a photo of your dog wearing their maddest hat, along with proof of your minimum £1 donation to Spaniel Aid, to:
📧 [email protected]

All online entries will be shared across our social media platforms, and the dog who receives the most likes across all platforms will be crowned our Maddest Hatter! 👑🎩🐶

So get creative, get your hats on and let the madness begin! 🎩🐾

🎟️ Full event and competition details can be found via the QR codes on the posters or here ( https://shorturl.at/6w6RB)

Come along, have some fun, meet fellow dog lovers, enjoy the beautiful gardens and help us raise money for a fantastic cause. 💛

And while this might be a Mad Spaniels Tea Party, you definitely don't need to be a Spaniel to join the fun – all breeds are welcome! 🐶🎩☕️

We can't wait to see your wonderfully mad, marvellous and magnificent hat creations! 🎩🐾💛

A few weeks ago we enjoyed a fantastic group walk from The Roebuck Inn, but you may have noticed we never shared the photos or videos afterwards.

Sadly, shortly after our walk, the pub closed its doors, and it just didn’t feel right posting about it.

The good news is… The Roebuck has officially reopened under new ownership! 🎉🐾

We’re so pleased to see this brilliant, dog-friendly pub back open and welcoming both two-legged and four-legged visitors. We’d love to encourage everyone to pop in and support the new owners, whether it’s after a walk with your dog or simply for a drink or a meal.theres plenty of walks on our account over on Pup & A Way

Now more than ever, our local pubs and the hospitality industry need our support. If we don’t use these wonderful places, we risk losing them, and that would be a real shame.

So, here’s a little reel from our last group walk at The Roebuck. We have some wonderful memories from the evening, and we’re hoping we can organising another walk there very soon.

In the meantime here are our current walks booked in 🐾

☀️ Summer Update – New Early Morning Walks 🐾

The hot weather continues, and it looks as though these higher summer temperatures are becoming more of the ‘new normal’.

Like many small businesses, the prolonged heat has had a massive financial impact. I’m certainly not alone—farmers are facing difficult conditions, garden centres and plant nurseries are battling drought, outdoor event organisers have had to cancel or postpone events, and many businesses that rely on outdoor activities have seen bookings significantly reduced.

For us, the welfare of the dogs will always come first. That means adapting when temperatures become too high for safe walks, even though it inevitably affects the business. If it’s too hot to walk safely, then we simply won’t walk. It’s a decision I’ll never compromise on.

To help both my customers and the business over the summer months, I’ll be introducing 6:15am walk slots on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays starting next week.

These walks will be available by pre-booking only, so if you’d like your dog to enjoy a cooler early morning adventure before the heat of the day sets in, please get in touch to reserve a space either by calling or emailing [email protected] bookings will be taken in a first come first served basis.

Thank you to all of the Tails in The Trails family, as always, for your continued support and understanding. It means more than you know. ❤️🐾

🎉 We’re delighted to announce that our chosen charity for the next **6 months** at our **Group Dog Walks** is **Katharine House Hospice ❤️🐾

We don’t charge to join our group dog walks because we believe everyone should be able to enjoy them. Instead, if you’re’re able to, we kindly ask for a voluntary donation to support our chosen charity at each event.

Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will help Katherine House Hospice continue providing outstanding care and support to local people and their families.

🎅 We’re also excited to be putting together a team for the **Katherine House Hospice Santa Fun Run** in Banbury on **Sunday 6th December 2026**!

We’d love to have a fantastic team of humans and dogs, all dressed in their festive outfits, taking part together in support of such a wonderful local charity. 🧑‍🎄🐶🎄

More information will be coming soon, but if you think you and your dog would like to join our team, **drop me a DM** and let me know you're interested. We'd love to have you with us!

Thank you for helping us make a difference while enjoying time outdoors with our wonderful dogs. We can't wait to see you on our walks—and hopefully at the Santa Fun Run too! 💙🐾

🐾 A little milestone we’d love to share…

Today we transferred £90 to One Wish Dog Foundation – donations collected over the last six months from our group dog walks. 💙

A huge thank you to every single person who has joined us on a walk and popped a donation in. Your kindness really does make a difference.

It’s worth mentioning that this £90 doesn’t include any donations made by scanning the QR code on our walks. Unfortunately, there’s no way for us to separate and track those donations, so the actual amount raised by our amazing walkers is quite a bit higher. Thank you to everyone who has donated in any way – we’re incredibly grateful.

If you’d still like to support One Wish Dog Foundation, you can donate directly at www.onewishdogs.co.uk.

Over the next six months, our group walks will be raising money for another fantastic charity, which we’ll be announcing very soon. ❤️

Although we’ll be supporting a new charity through our walks, we’ll continue to support One Wish Dog Foundation in as many ways as we can.

Thank you for being part of such a wonderful community and helping us make a difference while enjoying the trails together. 🐶🐾
