As I head into the weekend, I'm feeling incredibly grateful.

Last weekend marked the end of our third Past Life Regression Day at Calmer Heart with the wonderful Lesley and Andy.

What's made me reflect is that our friendship began years before Deep Roots Therapy existed. Before the training courses, before the healing journey, and before I had any idea where life would eventually lead me.

Back then, Calmer Heart was one of those places where I always felt welcomed exactly as I was. If you're ever in Banbury and feeling a little lost, looking for guidance, or simply in need of a warm and welcoming space, you'll be greeted with open arms there - just as I was.

Together, we've now welcomed 17 wonderful people through our Past Life Regression events, and it's been a privilege to witness the experiences, insights and healing that have unfolded.

I do love Past Life Regression as a technique, but that's only one small part of what I do.

Most evenings over the last few weeks have been spent supporting clients through anxiety, grief, depression, confidence struggles, addictions and habits that no longer serve them.

Sometimes it's helping someone process a sudden loss.

Sometimes it's supporting someone who's spent years feeling trapped by anxiety.

Sometimes it's helping someone reconnect with the person they know they can be.

That's the part of Deep Roots Therapy that often happens quietly behind the scenes.

So today I'm simply feeling grateful. Grateful to Lesley and Andy.

Grateful to every client who has trusted me.

And grateful that what started as my own healing journey has grown into helping others on theirs.

This weekend I'm taking a little time to recharge with friends before another busy week ahead.

If you've been carrying something that feels heavier than it needs to, please know you're always welcome to reach out.

Have a beautiful weekend.

Something I think is important to talk about within hypnotherapy and deeper therapeutic work is professionalism, safety and trust.

Because while this work can feel deeply personal and emotional, it should also always be approached responsibly and professionally.

A few things clients are often reassured to know before working with me:

🌿 Qualified Hypnotherapist holding a Practitioner Diploma through Tranquil Awakenings

🌿 Registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)

🌿 Fully insured

🌿 Regular supervision and ongoing CPD / additional training

🌿 Client consultation forms completed prior to hypnosis, including screening for contraindications and relevant medical history

🌿 Confidentiality agreements and client information available via my website and discussed as part of the process

🌿 Sessions are collaborative, grounded and client-led at all times

I know hypnotherapy can sometimes be misunderstood or associated with stage hypnosis or “airy fairy” stereotypes online.

In reality, professional hypnotherapy should feel safe, supportive and centred around the individual client and their wellbeing.

Whether somebody comes to me for stress, anxiety, confidence, habits, emotional processing or deeper subconscious work, my priority is always creating a space where people feel comfortable, informed and safe.

Some people left feeling deeply relaxed.
Some emotional.
Some fascinated by what came through.

Others continued noticing dreams, synchronicities and connections afterwards ✨

After two really lovely Past Life Regression Sundays at Calmer Heart, I'm back again this weekend for another small day of sessions.

One client described the experience as “eye opening.”
Another said they felt lighter, peaceful and more connected to themselves afterwards.

What I’ve loved most is how personal and different every session has been.

Sessions are now a full hour, allowing more time to relax, explore and process.

2 spaces remaining this Sunday:
✨ 10am
✨ 12.30pm

Book here:

Or feel free to message me with any questions ✨

I finally succumbed and asked for help with the garden recently 🌿

And the gardener said something that really stayed with me…

He pointed out sycamores growing in the garden — even though I never planted them.

They’d blown in from somewhere else.

And it made me stop and think about how many things we carry through life that were never really ours to begin with…

Other people’s fears.
Other people’s expectations.
Old comments.
Old conditioning.
Survival patterns.
Ways of thinking we learnt without even realising.

He also explained that what’s happening underneath the surface is often far deeper than what you can actually see.

Even the smallest shoots can have deep, stubborn roots.

And then there was the ivy…

You can trim it back.
Cut it down.
Spray it.
Make it look better for a while…

…but if you don’t get to the root, it often grows back.

Honestly, I think people can be a bit like gardens sometimes.

We become overwhelmed by what’s visible on the surface — anxiety, burnout, habits, confidence, stress, overthinking — without realising how much may be sitting underneath it all.

Sometimes healing isn’t about “trying harder”.

Sometimes it’s about gently clearing things back.
Understanding where it began.
Getting to the root.
Making space to grow differently.

And sometimes… it’s okay to have a little help doing that. 🌱

I shared something on LinkedIn recently that seemed to resonate - so I wanted to bring it here too.

Because sometimes the people I work with aren’t a different type of person to you or me.

They don’t need fixing.

They are mostly just people carrying a lot.

Families. Work. Caring for others. The relentless pace of everyday life.

High-functioning, capable people who look absolutely fine from the outside - but who are quietly exhausted, overthinking, overwhelmed, or feeling disconnected from themselves somewhere along the way.

That’s not weakness.

That’s just being human in 2026.

And sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is create a little space to understand what’s really going on beneath the surface.

That’s a big part of what Deep Roots Therapy is here for. 🌿

One thing I've learned after years working in marketing and advertising is this:

Real change rarely happens because somebody saw the perfect advert or social media post.

It usually happens when a person genuinely feels ready for something to shift.

I was reminded of this recently chatting with a fellow healthcare professional. She'd been shopping for a wedding dress and left feeling overwhelmed and pressured - the opposite of how you want to feel in that moment. She said she'd never run her business that way.

Neither would I.

And it got me thinking about why that pressure so rarely works.

Sometimes part of us is ready for change, while another part feels uncertain or reluctant. That's not failure - that's completely normal. It's actually something I work with regularly in sessions, helping those different parts find their own pace and their own yes.

That's why, with Deep Roots Therapy, my focus has never been on hard selling.

It's about creating a space that feels safe, calm, honest, and trusted. A place where people can explore change in their own time, without pressure or judgement.

And when the timing feels right for them, they know where I am. 🌿

Still taking a moment to reflect on Sunday’s sessions at Calmer Heart 💛

Every person who walked through the door had a completely different experience… and that’s the beauty of this work.

It’s not about what you should see - it’s about what your mind is ready to show you.

I’ve now extended sessions to a full hour to allow more space to go deeper 🌿

The last two event days fully booked within 24 hours, and there are 6 spaces available for the next one.

If you feel drawn to it, trust that feeling.

Yesterday’s Past Life Regression Day completely flew by.

Seven sessions back-to-back, so many wonderful people, so much trust, curiosity and openness in the room.

Some came excited. Some came nervous. Some unsure if they’d “see anything.”

And yet so many left with stories, emotions, insight, meaning or something to reflect on.

That’s what I love most about this work.

No two sessions are ever the same.

Thank you to everyone who came and shared the experience with me. 🌿✨

Thank you so much for Lesley and Andi of Calmer Heart for letting me use their beautiful space, and promoting me consistently with love. 🥰

Now… tea, rest, and letting my voice recover.

Honest truth? This morning was hard.

Cold, grey, tired. That kind of flat feeling where everything feels a bit much before the day's even started.

But I know myself well enough now to know what I need. Movement. Fresh air. Getting out of my own head and into my body for a bit.

So I went anyway.

No magic formula. Just one of the tools I keep coming back to - the ones I've built up over years, through my own stuff as much as through my work with clients.

An hour later, the rain had stopped, the sun came through, and I finished the walk with Click Clack Symphony in my ears and this line stopping me in my tracks:

"The cold never lasts, my darling. It just teaches the heart how to burn."

And now, at the end of the day, I genuinely mean this - it's been a beautiful one. Not because everything was perfect. But because of that small choice this morning to show up for myself.

That shift changed the whole day.

Whatever you're sitting with right now - it won't always feel this heavy. And you don't have to figure it out alone.
