England got off to a winning start last night with an impressive 4-2 victory over Croatia! ⚽🏆 The excitement is building, and we're bringing that football fever to our upcoming event.

As part of Care Home Open Week, we'd love to invite you to our World Cup-themed Open Day on Saturday 20th June, from 2pm-4pm.

We're thrilled to be joined by Whalley Junior Football Club, and there'll be plenty to enjoy, including fun football activities, refreshments, and a chance to spend time with our residents and team.

Whether you've visited before or are curious to learn more about life in our home, we'd be delighted to welcome you along.

If you're unable to attend on the day, you're always welcome to arrange a visit at a more convenient time.

Today, we celebrated Pride Month with a range of activities, including cupcake decorating, a disco, enjoying our amazing rainbow cake, and raising a glass of wine together.

Have You Seen Our New TV Advert Yet? 🌟

This week, Crystal Care Collection launched its second TV advert, and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of this incredible achievement! 📺🥂

Featuring the wonderful Anthea Turner, the advert is now airing on Sky, Channel 4, ITV, and GB News.

Our residents gathered in the cinema room to watch the advert together and celebrate the occasion, with glasses of prosecco raised and plenty of excitement in the room. ✨

We are incredibly proud to be part of this milestone and even prouder to share it with our amazing residents, who are at the heart of everything we do every single day. ❤️

🍽️✨ Job Swap Day at Middleshaw Hills! ✨🍽️

Today we had some fun in the kitchen as our Unit Manager, Rebecca, took part in a job swap and stepped into the role of chef for the day!

She really embraced the challenge and created a delicious homemade lunch for everyone, including leek and potato soup with croutons, a feta side salad, and rosemary potatoes. To finish, residents enjoyed homemade hobnobs, chocolate-covered strawberries, and Chantilly cream 😋

At Middleshaw Hills, we love giving our team opportunities to explore different roles, share skills, and learn something new.

A big well done to Rebecca for showcasing her cooking skills – we think we may have uncovered a hidden talent! 👀
