💭 What is your body trying to tell you?
Persistent symptoms aren't always something to simply push through.

✨ Constant fatigue
✨ Digestive discomfort
✨ Headaches
✨ Poor sleep
✨ Feeling stressed or overwhelmed
These can all be signs that your body is asking for support.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, symptoms are viewed as clues that help us understand where balance may have been lost.
Rather than focusing on symptoms alone, acupuncture looks at the bigger picture, supporting the body as a whole and helping restore balance from the inside out.

There is nothing more rewarding than seeing someone regain their energy, confidence and quality of life.

"After being diagnosed with chronic fatigue, Gaynor has transformed my life in just 5 weeks. Her knowledge of nutrition and acupuncture combined were the catalyst for this transformation and the results are incredible. I would highly recommend Gaynor and would return without any hesitation."
Thank you so much for your kind words.

Everyone's health journey is unique, and results vary from person to person, but it's a privilege to support clients in finding a path that works for them. By combining acupuncture with personalised nutrition and lifestyle guidance, the aim is always to support the body as a whole, not just the symptoms.

If you're living with ongoing fatigue, low energy or simply don't feel like yourself, you don't have to navigate it alone.

🌿 We're over halfway through the year. Take a moment to check in with yourself...
How are you really feeling?

✨ Are you sleeping well?
✨ Do you have the energy you'd like?
✨ Are stress levels manageable?
✨ Is your body moving comfortably?
✨ Are you making time for yourself?

It's easy to keep pushing through life without stopping to notice how we're actually doing.

Sometimes the smallest changes, whether that's improving your sleep, managing stress, reviewing your nutrition or exploring acupuncture, can have a positive impact on your overall wellbeing.

Your health deserves attention all year round, not just when something feels wrong. Maybe today is the perfect time to check in with yourself.

Are you nourishing your body for the season you're in?

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, summer is a time of Yang energy, bringing warmth, movement and vitality. But when temperatures rise, it's also important to help the body stay cool, hydrated and balanced.

Eating with the seasons is one of the simplest ways to support your wellbeing.
In my blog, I explore:
✨ What "Summer Heat" means in Traditional Chinese Medicine
✨ Which foods and drinks help cool the body naturally
✨ Why iced drinks aren't always the best choice
✨ Simple ways to nourish yourself throughout the summer months

🌿 Think of your summer plate as a garden, colourful, light and full of life.

☀️ Sunshine can do wonders for our mood and wellbeing, but our skin deserves a little extra care during the summer months 💚

Daily sun protection, staying hydrated and nourishing your skin with gentle, natural ingredients all help to keep your skin healthy and resilient.
That's one of the reasons I love . Their naturally derived, cruelty-free products are designed to care for your skin without unnecessary toxins, helping it feel hydrated, protected and radiant throughout the summer.

Whether you're heading out for a walk, spending time in the garden or enjoying a holiday, don't forget to protect your skin.

If you'd like advice on choosing the right Tropic products for your skin, I'd be delighted to help. Drop in clinic or shop online https://tropicskincare.com/pages/gaynorgrozier

Summer is a season of warmth, joy and connection. But how often do we pause to ask ourselves what truly brings us joy?

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, summer is associated with the Heart, which is said to house the Shen, our spirit, consciousness and emotional wellbeing.

When the Shen is settled, we often feel calm, present and able to experience genuine joy. When it's unsettled, perhaps through excess heat, overstimulation or ongoing stress—we may notice anxiety, restless sleep or a feeling of being disconnected from ourselves and those around us.

This summer, why not nurture your Inner Fire with a few simple daily rituals? Find out more about natural healing with a free discovery call https://gaynorgrozieracupuncture.com/book-a-call/

*Please remember that these suggestions are intended to complement your overall wellbeing. If you experience persistent high temperatures, dizziness, chest pain or symptoms of heatstroke, seek medical advice promptly.

Feeling restless, overheated or unable to switch off this summer?
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the warmer months can sometimes lead to a build-up of what is known as Summer Heat, leaving us feeling mentally busy, emotionally unsettled or finding it difficult to relax.
✨ A simple acupressure point you can try at home is Yongquan (KD1), also known as "Gushing Spring."
📍 You'll find it on the sole of the foot, around the top third of the foot, just below the ball.
Traditionally, this point is used to:
🌿 Draw excess heat down from the head and heart
🌿 Calm a busy mind
🌿 Promote a sense of grounding
🌿 Encourage relaxation before sleep
For a soothing summer ritual, try soaking your feet in cool (not ice-cold) water before gently massaging this point on each foot for 1–2 minutes. Pair it with slow, mindful breathing to help your body unwind after a warm day.
Sometimes the simplest rituals are the most restorative.

⚽ After Wednesday night’s match, the England team could probably do with a group acupuncture booking…

Following 90 minutes of tackles, knocks and plenty of fouls from Argentina, there will no doubt be some tired legs and aching muscles in the England camp today.
Acupuncture is used by many active people as part of their recovery routine to help:
✨ Ease muscular tension and stiffness
✨ Support mobility and flexibility
✨ Encourage the body’s natural recovery processes
✨ Help manage everyday sporting aches and pains

You don’t need to play for England to benefit either. Whether you’re playing five-a-side, training for an event or simply keeping active, giving your body time to recover is an important part of staying well.

Because every great performance starts with a body that's been given the chance to recover, find out more in a free discovery call https://gaynorgrozieracupuncture.com/book-a-call/

🔬 Research continues to improve our understanding of how acupuncture works.
A recent study has explored how acupuncture may help regulate immune function by activating specific neural pathways that connect the nervous and immune systems.

These findings add to a growing body of research suggesting that acupuncture's effects may involve precise communication between the brain, nerves and immune responses.

While research is ongoing, it's encouraging to see modern science exploring mechanisms that have been central to Traditional Chinese Medicine for centuries.
At Gaynor Grozier Acupuncture, every treatment is personalised, supporting the body as a whole rather than focusing on symptoms alone.

It's an exciting time for acupuncture as more research continues to explore its role in supporting health and wellbeing. Want to find out more? Book your FREE discovery session at https://gaynorgrozieracupuncture.com/book-a-call/

"I'm already 75% better after just one session." ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
There's nothing more rewarding than hearing how quickly someone begins to feel the benefits of treatment.

"I had my first acupuncture treatment with Gaynor last week and I'm already 75% better with my hands — I honestly couldn't believe the difference after just one session.

Gaynor was incredibly professional, caring and attentive from start to finish. She really listened to everything I needed and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the treatment. Her skills are absolutely amazing, and you can tell she genuinely cares about helping her clients feel better.

I'm so impressed with the results already and can't wait for my next session. Highly recommend Gaynor to anyone considering acupuncture."

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Every person's journey is unique, and it's always a privilege to support people on their path towards better health and wellbeing.
