Birth Baby Balance - Bath, Wiltshire & Somerset Guidance, support and information through pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. During my own first pregnancy, I felt that I was embarking on a race!

I trained as a Registered General Nurse in 1989, and have since had many years working in the field of child health and education, within my role as a school nurse. I have been working as a qualified postnatal doula since 2008, and in that time I have supported many families with twins, and so have gained a lot of experience in this field. This race would be the biggest adventure of my life - moth

erhood. It's a journey that has been (and still continues to be) exhilarating, frustrating, exciting, rewarding, but at times very scary. As with any race, the 'start' can make all the difference. I was very fortunate to be surrounded by supportive friends and family who ensured that I 'got off the blocks' to a great start! I'm convinced that this support and encouragement is vital for all new mothers, and that’s why I feel so passionate about providing a doula service that does just that. I am a non-smoker, fully insured and member of Doula UK.
