Cacao Banana Ice Cream with Olive Oil & Flaky Salt

Ingredients
🍌 3 ripe bananas, sliced and frozen
🍫 2 tbsp Naturya Cacao Powder
πŸ₯› 2–3 tbsp plant milk (oat or almond), as needed
🌿 1 tsp vanilla extract
πŸ§‚ Pinch of sea salt

To finish
✨ 1–2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
πŸ§‚ Flaky sea salt
🍫 Optional: Naturya Cacao Nibs or shaved dark chocolate

Method

1. Freeze the banana slices for at least 4 hours or overnight.
2. Add the frozen bananas, Naturya Cacao Powder, vanilla, sea salt and 2 tablespoons of plant milk to a food processor or high-speed blender.
3. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. Add the remaining plant milk only if necessary to help it blend.
4. Serve immediately for a soft-serve texture, or freeze for 30–60 minutes for a firmer scoop.
5. Spoon into bowls and finish with a generous drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, a pinch of flaky sea salt and, if you like, a sprinkle of Naturya Cacao Nibs or shaved dark chocolate. Enjoy! πŸ’›

Sweet, fruity and made with just a handful of ingredients, this homemade chia jam is a simple way to make the most of summer berries.

Ingredients
πŸ“ 2 cups strawberries, raspberries or mixed berries
🍯 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey (optional)
πŸ‹ 1 tbsp lemon juice
🌱 2 tbsp Naturya Chia Seeds

Method

1. Add the berries to a small saucepan and cook over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes until softened and juicy.
2. Mash the berries until mostly smooth.
3. Stir in the maple syrup (or honey) and lemon juice.
4. Remove from the heat and mix in the Naturya Chia Seeds.
5. Leave to stand for 10 minutes, stirring once or twice as the jam thickens.
6. Transfer to a jar, chill, and enjoy whenever you need a fruity topping. πŸ’›

Matcha Chia Pudding with Strawberry Jam & Coconut Yogurt

Ingredients

For the matcha chia pudding
🍡 250ml milk of choice
🌱 4 tbsp chia seeds
πŸ’› 2 tbsp Naturya Matcha Latte Superfood Blend
🍁 1 tbsp maple syrup

For the strawberry layer
πŸ“ 150g fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped

For layering
πŸ₯₯ 200g coconut yogurt
πŸ“ Fresh strawberries, sliced

Method

1. Whisk together the milk, matcha and maple syrup until smooth. Stir in the chia seeds and leave for 10 minutes. Stir again, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
2. Cook the chopped strawberries over medium heat for 8–10 minutes until soft and jammy. Leave to cool.
3. Layer the matcha chia pudding, strawberry jam and coconut yogurt into two glasses or jars.

Spirulina Mint Lemonade

Ingredients
πŸ‹ 2 large lemons, peeled with as much white pith removed as possible
πŸ’§ 3 cups cold water
✨ 750ml sparkling water
🍯 ¼ cup honey, agave or maple syrup
πŸ’š 1 tsp Naturya Spirulina Powder
🌿 1 large handful fresh mint leaves

Method

1. Cut the peeled lemons into chunks and remove any seeds.
2. Add the lemons, water, sweetener, spirulina and mint to a high speed blender.
3. Blend on high until completely smooth.
4. Chill thoroughly.
5. Stir in the sparkling water just before serving.
6. Pour into glass bottles and enjoy chilled.

Made with cacao, chia seeds and a handful of simple ingredients, they’re easy to prepare, perfect for sharing and ideal for popping into your picnic basket.

You will need (makes approx. 12 truffles):

1 cup rolled oats
Β½ cup almond flour
ΒΌ cup Naturya Cacao Powder
2 tbsp Naturya Chia Seeds
β…“ cup almond butter
β…“ cup maple syrup
ΒΌ cup coconut cream
Pinch of sea salt

1. Blend the oats into a coarse flour.
2. Mix with the almond flour, cacao powder, chia seeds and salt.
3. Stir in the almond butter, maple syrup and coconut cream.
4. Refrigerate for 20 minutes. If the mixture feels dry, add a little extra maple syrup and coconut cream.
5. Roll into balls.
6. Coat in cacao powder or desiccated coconut.
7. Finish with crushed freeze-dried strawberries or pistachios.
