Respiratory conditions - People with asthma, COPD and other lung conditions may find hot weather, humidity and poor air quality can worsen symptoms.
Patients should:
• Continue using prescribed inhalers and medications.
• Carry reliever inhalers when out and about.
• Monitor local air quality and pollen forecasts if these are known triggers.
• Seek advice if symptoms become difficult to manage.

one of my personal favourite events every year, seeing all our SEND community have a fab relaxed day out at the Fire station

The SEND relaxed quiet fire station open day is Sat 15th of August, from 2pm to 5pm. You are welcome to attend dressed as a firefighter; however, this is not essential.

If you are planning to attend, please drop an email with the number of people in your group so we have a rough idea of numbers for the day.

🦟Infected insect bite?

You can get NHS treatment for a range of common conditions at your local pharmacy, usually without an appointment.

Most pharmacies can supply prescription medicine for conditions including injected insect bites, sore throat, sinusitis, urinary tract infection (water infection), earache, impetigo and shingles (age restrictions apply).

Not only is this quicker and more convenient for you, it helps our hard working GP Practice teams.
