One thing I love about essential oils is trying out new blends either as a perfume or for the diffuser 🌸 Here’s a few of my recent favourites....

Hello and happy 1st of March! Spring is definitely in the air and I think were all starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel 🙏🏻
The first day of each month Young Living release new promos for members who get the monthly subscription which is always exciting! This month is even better as there are a few new products too 🎉

For my birthday we had gone out on an ‘adventure’ and stopped to have our ‘car picnic’
Straight away the girls wanted their seatbelts off and before I knew it there was a child on my knee. Maddie like the magpie she is was drawn to my diffuser necklace. I had decided to put lavender on the pendant, so when she sniffed it I asked her ‘does that smell like nap time?’ She nodded her head and said ‘nap time’ and put her head down on my shoulder! 😍 It was the cutest thing ever and reminded me how memory and scent are so strongly linked. Rolling diluted Lavender on Maddie before she falls asleep has become such a lovely routine that she now rolls it on herself and her teddy 🥰

A new month, another new day. This can only be a good thing right?
As much as this past year has dragged, I do also feel like it’s all been a blur. I look back at photos of this time last year when we didn’t know what was about to hit us, and my girls were so small. So many life stages and golden moments throughout the blur. Poor Maddie turned 1 the week before the first lockdown & I pray that by her birthday this year things will be more ‘normal’ again. What even is normal anymore?! 🥴🤪🤷🏼‍♀️
Spring is round the corner so that’s one good thing at least!🌼🌸🌷

One thing I love about using essential oils is that I can choose what to diffuse according to my need; this can change on a daily basis whereas a candle will only have the one scent.
I love to get creative with blends, cue Pinterest! 🤗
This afternoon I’ve chosen this lovely combo to try & beat the Friday afternoon slump! 🍋🍃

✨Wake up:
1 drop black pepper
4 drops peppermint
3 drops lemon
