πŸ“’ Help shape the first clinical recommendations for pediatric CML in low- and middle-income countries

The iCMLf and the I-BFM CML Working Group are developing the first dedicated clinical recommendations for managing pediatric CML in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

Already, 31 clinicians from 19 countries across Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, South and Central Asia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and the Pacific have shared their experiences. The interim findings highlight both strong alignment with international treatment recommendations and the significant challenges many centres face, including limited access to second-generation TKIs, molecular monitoring, and therapeutic drug monitoring.

Find out more about what the latest data reveals: https://buff.ly/4QHVHYJ

To ensure these recommendations reflect the realities of clinical practice across diverse resource settings, we need to hear from more physicians treating children and adolescents with CML in LMICs.

πŸ“ The survey takes approximately 15–20 minutes to complete.
πŸ‘‰ Complete the survey: https://buff.ly/HsNX7D3

Please help us strengthen this important initiative by participating and sharing the survey with colleagues who manage pediatric CML patients in LMICs.

25 years of TKI therapy in CML – from revolution to reality

A new CancerWorld special issue celebrates 25 years of tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy in CML, bringing together perspectives from across the global CML community.

The iCMLf is pleased to contribute the article β€œFrom Revolution to Reality”, reflecting on how scientific advances, education, global collaboration, patient advocacy, and improved access to treatment have transformed CML management worldwide.

While remarkable progress has been made, the article also looks ahead to the next challenge: ensuring equitable access to high-quality treatment for all patients and moving beyond disease control towards treatment-free remission and, ultimately, cure.
