One of the biggest misconceptions about therapy is that you need to be struggling with severe anxiety to benefit from it.

Of course, I work with anxiety.

But I also work with people who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, stressed, lacking confidence, trapped in unhelpful habits, struggling with overthinking, or preparing for an important event.

Many of my clients don't come to me because something is "wrong".

They come because they're tired of repeating the same patterns and want to feel more in control of their thoughts, emotions and behaviours.

Therapy isn't just about helping you cope when things are difficult.

It's also about helping you create meaningful, lasting change.

If you've ever wondered whether hypnotherapy might help with something you're experiencing, feel free to send me a message. I'd be happy to chat through it with you.

When most people hear the word hypnotherapy, they picture swinging watches, mind control, or stage hypnotists making people cluck like chickens.

The reality is much less dramatic... and far more useful.

Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) combines evidence-based CBT techniques with hypnosis to help people understand and change unhelpful patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving.

It's not about losing control. It's not about being "put under". And it's definitely not about me fixing you with a magic wand.

Instead, it's about learning practical skills, understanding how your mind works, and creating lasting change.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, overthinking, stress, confidence issues, phobias or feeling stuck in old patterns, CBH can help you build a different relationship with your thoughts and emotions.

Have you ever considered hypnotherapy but weren't quite sure what it involved?

I'd love to know what comes to mind when you hear the word "hypnosis" πŸ‘‡

Overthinking is often a search for certainty.

The trouble is that life rarely gives us complete certainty, no matter how much we think about it.

What's something you've caught yourself overthinking recently? πŸ’

One of the biggest myths I see is that calm people are just born that way.

In reality, calm is much less about personality and much more about practice.

The brain and nervous system are constantly learning from repetition. The more often we practise returning to steady, the easier it becomes to do so when life feels challenging.

Where in your life do you notice pressure showing up most at the moment? πŸ’›

Ever noticed how the things that matter most often feel the hardest?

Whether it's a sporting event, an important meeting, an exam, or even trying to stay patient with your children after a stressful day, pressure can have a surprising effect on performance.

Many people assume they need more confidence, but often the real issue is that their brain and body have shifted into protection mode.

Understanding your pressure response is the first step towards changing it.

Pressure isn't the enemy. Learning how to respond to it differently is where the magic happens.

Where does pressure tend to show up for you?
