🌟 Homecare’s Got Talent 2026! 🌟

We had the absolute pleasure of attending Homecare’s Got Talent, and what a brilliant and unique event it was! 🎤💃✨

We watched some incredibly talented carers step into the spotlight and showcase talents that you might never get to see during their working day and we loved every minute of it!

One of the things that really stood out to us was the message behind the event. Carers are so much more than their job title. 💙

They’re singers, dancers, performers, creatives… they have passions, personalities and sometimes some very well-hidden talents! 🌟

In care, we spend so much time celebrating what carers do for others, so it was really special to see an event dedicated to celebrating who they are as individuals too.

A huge well done to everyone who performed it takes some serious courage to get up on that stage! 👏

We absolutely love being part of a company that supports opportunities like this and truly recognises the incredible people behind the care. 😇💙

The Visiting Angels Birmingham North team is delighted to be attending the Sutton Rose Summer Fayre on Saturday 8th August, 12pm–4pm! 💜

It’s set to be a fantastic afternoon with something for everyone, including:

🛍️ Local stalls
🐑 Farm animal experience
🎉 Fun for all ages

This week, Clare and I are spending three days in Cannock with Tiegan, our Cannock Branch Manager, who is leading our training as we continue developing our knowledge and sharing best practice across our branches.

We thought it was about time we introduced a couple of the faces working behind the scenes to support our clients, families and amazing Carers.

👋 Meet Clare, our Branch Care Manager.

Clare is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and works closely with our clients, their families and our wonderful carers to ensure everyone receives the support they deserve. She oversees the day-to-day delivery of our service and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of care.

And I'm Danielle! 👋

I wear quite a few hats here at Visiting Angels! From welcoming new recruits and supporting onboarding, to quality audits, social media, operational projects and helping improve the way we work behind the scenes, no two days are ever the same and that's exactly what I love about it.

Together, we're proud to be part of a team that's dedicated to making a real difference in people's lives every single day.

It’s never just about the hours it’s about the trust built with families, the dedication shown every single day, and the commitment to going above and beyond to ensure people receive the support they deserve.

Seeing hard work recognised in this way is so rewarding. Appreciation like this reflects the compassion, professionalism, and determination that she brings to the role every day.
