Five Element Acupuncture

Five Element Acupuncture (5EA), has been part of traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. This theory teaches that everything in life is made up of five elements -Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood. We all have one of these elements that is known as our Causative Factor. This is the weak link in our system and the root cause of the diseases we manifest on all levels.
Acupuncture treatment helps to support and restore the balance of the Causative Factor in the exact way needed by each individual patient.
It is an effective and unique system of medicine that diagnoses and treats the causes of disease.
Five Element Acupuncture treats the root cause of ill health, which, in turn, allows what may feel like unconnected symptoms to resolve.
Treatment works by balancing energy (Qi) which flows through channels in the body. This rebalancing is achieved through a careful assessment of an individual’s needs.
On the basis of this a treatment plan is formulated.
Acupuncture points are chosen for their specific qualities in balancing the patient’s Qi and realigning their health and wellbeing.
