May Recap🦋
May has been a truly wonderful month here at Inglewood, filled with laughter, friendship, and so many special moments shared together. As the warmer weather arrived, everyone made the most of the sunshine and enjoyed spending quality time with one another, creating memories. ☀️
Throughout the month, we celebrated birthdays with smiles, cake, and plenty of cheerful singing. There were lots of fun and friendly games enjoyed by residents and staff, bringing out everyone’s competitive spirit and many laughs along the way. A lovely highlight of the month was our enjoyable pub lunch at the Trooper, where good food and great company made for a fantastic afternoon out.
Music has also brought so much joy to Inglewood this month, with talented singers entertaining us and getting everyone singing along. Residents have spent many happy hours in the garden too — gardening, relaxing in the sunshine, playing bingo outdoors, and simply enjoying each other’s company. And of course, there may have been a few cheeky glasses of wine enjoyed along the way… but we’ll keep that our little secret! 🍷
As we look ahead, we are excited for all of the activities and events planned for June and cannot wait to continue making more happy memories together as one big Inglewood family.
This month, we also take a moment to remember two very special residents, Austin and George, who will both be missed immensely by everyone at Inglewood. Their kindness, humour, and presence brought so much happiness to those around them, and they will forever remain in our hearts. We are deeply grateful for all of the moments, conversations, and memories shared together. They will always be remembered by both staff and residents.♥️
