🎄 SILVER BIRCHES CHRISTMAS RAFFLE & TOY APPEAL 2026 🎁

Here at Silver Birches, we hold our special Christmas Raffle and Gift Collection, bringing together our wonderful staff, residents, and local community to make Christmas extra special for children in care homes who sadly have no family of their own.

These children deserve to feel loved, remembered, and excited on Christmas Day, just like every other child, and thanks to your incredible kindness last year, we’ve been able to make that happen.

✨ THIS YEAR WE’RE STARTING EARLY! ✨

We want every child to have something lovely to open on Christmas Day, so we’re aiming to have all donations and preparations completed by 1st December 2026. That way, every gift can be wrapped, labelled, and delivered in plenty of time for the 25th.

We are collecting:

- New, unwrapped toys, games, books, crafts, and soft toys (suitable for all ages from babies to teens)

- Raffle prize donations (to help us raise funds for extra gifts and supplies)
​
- Any contribution, big or small — every single gift makes a huge difference to a child who might otherwise receive nothing.

📅 Deadline for all donations: Monday 1st December 2026

You can drop off donations at Silver Birches reception.

🌟 Fun in the Sun with Mandy! 🌟

A huge well done to our wonderful carer Mandy for organising such a fun activity for our residents! 🥰☀️

Our residents had a fantastic time getting involved, having lots of laughs and making some wonderful memories together. ❤️ It was lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves and getting into the spirit of the activity!

Thank you, Mandy, for always going the extra mile to bring fun and enjoyment to our residents’ days. 👏💐

Silver Birches Care Home is looking for caring, compassionate and dedicated people to join our wonderful team!

We currently have the following Care positions available:

2 x Night Care Positions
1 x Day Care Position
Bank Care Position

If you’re passionate about making a real difference to the lives of our residents and would love to become part of our friendly team, we’d love to hear from you!

Experience is preferred but not essential — full support and training will be provided to the right candidates.
