More than 100 nurses, healthcare workers and supporters rallied in Maine after registered nurse Debora Kapisha was detained by immigration authorities. Their message was clear: stand together for a colleague and member of their community. Following public pressure, union advocacy and legal challenges, Kapisha was released from custody and returned home to Maine,a powerful reminder of what solidarity can achieve.
