I'm sitting at a community event, in a park where I live. Acoustic bands playing songs, community all chilling out on a much cooler Sunday afternoon...
Blankets out, fold up chairs galore... and way too many ants 🐜 😒
It's very chilled. However I feel odd....
Weirdly out of sorts. Being sober is still very odd, and I just wish I could have just one but I know I can't. I never could. This is how it has to be.
Watching people has always been a favourite hobby!
But I see way more now, with sober eyes & mind 👀
I often wonder if this uncomfortable feeling will pass in these situations...
And I look around at just much alcohol & food is being consumed...
I'm certainly not judging anyone. Im genuinely not that person. I just find our society & behaviours so fascinating...
If anyone's hungry it's the choice of burger, chips or ice cream (from 2 different ice cream vans 🤷♀️)
At £6 a pint, it's not a cheap afternoon but yet I see pint after pint... and many ice creams!
Yet it's beautiful to see people out having a lovely afternoon ☺️ and I'm greatful to be here, outside enjoying the music....
I just wish i didn't feel this uncomfortable feeling
I'm proud of myself and will continue my journey & enjoy my coffee ☕️ ❣️ and let others enjoy their life their way
Big Sunday Love ❤️ Sara
