👻 Could You Be a 'Ghost Patient'?
Did you know that patients can sometimes be incorrectly removed from their GP practice list if their details cannot be confirmed during routine NHS record checks?
📬 You may receive a letter from NHS England or Primary Care Support England (PCSE) asking you to confirm your details. If you do, please don't ignore it.
✅ Check and confirm your details are correct
✅ Follow the instructions in the letter
✅ Let your GP practice know if you have moved
✅ Let your GP practice know if you have changed numbers
Keeping your information up to date helps ensure:
• You remain registered with your GP
• You continue to receive important NHS communications, including screening and vaccination invitations
• Your medical records stay linked to the correct practice, helping to support your ongoing care
⚠️ If you do not respond, you could be removed from your GP practice list and may need to re-register before accessing GP services.
