Who Was Faye?

Faye Rebecca Cunningham was a kind, loving, funny and gentle 27-year-old woman whose life was cut far too short on 29 July 2022.

Faye loved her family, her partner and her friends. She had a caring heart and always tried to bring kindness and positivity to those around her.

Throughout her life, Faye experienced many health challenges, symptoms and unanswered questions. After losing Faye, our family began the difficult journey of reviewing her medical history and trying to understand the bigger picture.

We believe every person deserves to have their story heard, their history considered, and their concerns taken seriously.

🦋 Why Was Faye’s Law Created?

Faye’s Law – History Matters was created following the loss of Faye and our family’s search for answers.

The campaign exists to raise awareness about the importance of looking at the whole person, not just separate appointments, individual symptoms or isolated events.

When health concerns continue over many years, we believe patterns should be recognised and medical history should be considered as part of the bigger picture.

💜 What Are We Campaigning For?

Faye’s Law is calling for changes that could help protect future patients and families:

✔️ Better communication between healthcare services
✔️ Improved support for vulnerable patients
✔️ Clearer follow-up when concerning results or patterns appear

🦋💜 Faye’s Legacy – Keeping Her Love Alive 💜🦋

Faye Rebecca Cunningham was so much more than the circumstances surrounding her loss.

She was a daughter, partner, family member and friend.

She was kind. She was caring. She had a beautiful heart and a way of making people feel valued.

Although Faye’s life was far too short, the love she gave continues.

🦋 Faye’s Law – History Matters was created from our search for answers and our hope that lessons can be learned to help protect others.

💜 FayzieBobs was created to keep Faye’s kindness, positivity and love growing — reminding people that friendship matters, courage matters and being yourself matters.

Through awareness, creativity and community, we hope Faye’s legacy can continue to bring comfort, hope and support to those who need it.

Our wish is that Faye’s story will not only be remembered, but that it will help create something positive for the future.
