Tea, cake and great company – the perfect afternoon! ☕🍰

Residents at Whitecliffe House enjoyed a lovely trip to the Udder Farm Shop, where they treated themselves to delicious cake and a hot drink.

With plenty of laughter, conversation and a relaxing change of scenery, it was a wonderful afternoon spent catching up with friends and making more happy memories together.

A day full of sunshine and sunflowers! 🌻☀️

Residents at Whitecliffe House enjoyed a lovely minibus trip in search of beautiful sunflower fields, and they certainly found them!

Margaret and Anne loved getting a closer look at the stunning blooms, and the outing even sparked a new friendship. To top it all off, our wonderful minibus driver bought some sunflowers for everyone to enjoy back at the home, where they're now proudly displayed in the lounge.

A peaceful summer outing filled with smiles, friendship and the beauty of nature.

🎉💙 As part of our 35th anniversary celebrations, we were delighted to host a special 'This Is Your Life' Afternoon Tea, bringing together residents, families, friends and members of our local community.

Our courtyard was filled with music, delicious afternoon tea, a raffle and fascinating stories from Blandford Town Museum, whose photographs and memorabilia sparked plenty of conversation and reminiscence. We were also pleased to welcome the Mayor and Mayoress of Blandford, along with representatives from our chosen charity, Nourish ☀️

A particularly touching moment saw two of our longest-serving team members, Cheryl and Patricia, recognised for more than 21 years of dedicated service to Whitecliffe House ❤️👏

Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who attended, we raised £250 for Nourish and donated around 10 boxes of food to support the local foodbank.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating this special milestone with us! ✨

🍦☀️ We had a fantastic weekend celebrating National Ice Cream Day at Whitecliffe House!

Our very own ice cream cart rolled into action! Complete with ice cream van music, Companion Jo visited residents throughout the home serving delicious ice creams with all the favourite toppings – from sprinkles and marshmallows to chocolate flakes and sauces 🍫🌈

A little bit of Wimbledon magic at Whitecliffe! 🎾🍓

Residents enjoyed watching the Men’s Wimbledon Final together, with refreshing Pimm’s and lemonade served during the match.

The real star of the afternoon was the strawberries and cream - a firm favourite with residents and staff alike!

A lovely way to enjoy the excitement of Wimbledon in great company. ☀️

🇬🇧👑 What a memorable day for our residents and team at Whitecliffe House!

We headed into town to join the crowds for the visit of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, celebrating the reopening of the beautifully restored Corn Exchange, Blandford Forum 🇬🇧✨

Dressed in red, white, and blue and waving Union flags, we enjoyed a wonderful picnic while listening to the Bournemouth Youth Band before catching a glimpse of the King and Queen as they greeted members of the crowd 🎶🥪

Residents celebrated Hawaiian Day with colourful decorations, refreshing piña coladas and plenty of music, laughter and singing. Ruth stole the show in her grass skirt, sunglasses and flower garlands, bringing extra smiles to a wonderful tropical afternoon.

Residents at Whitecliffe House celebrated the start of the World Cup in America with an American-themed brunch 🇺🇸🥞

Buttermilk pancakes with blueberries and syrup proved popular, while USA-themed hats, flags and leis helped set the scene. There was plenty of conversation too, with residents sharing stories and connections to America.
