Remember last year’s retreat? It was so great. Loads of yoga but also great food, music, surfing, company, rest, sauna, luxury. No wonder it sold out pretty much straight away. 17 of us are going this year - all ages and levels. Can’t wait❤️

If you missed it please follow me here or come along to a class and see if it’s for you. We also hold day retreats which are beautiful and you get to go home to your own bed feeling all zen ❤️.

✨ Beautiful Therapy Room Available – Boston Spa ✨

I’m looking for a kind, professional therapist to join me in my peaceful wellness space in the heart of Boston Spa.

For the past 10 years this has been a place where people come to slow down, heal and reconnect through acupuncture, yoga, sound baths and wellbeing workshops. I’m looking for someone who’d love to become part of that warm, supportive environment.

The space would be ideal for counselling, reflexology, massage, holistic therapies, women’s health practitioners, pelvic health physiotherapy, nutrition, hypnotherapy, coaching or other wellbeing services.

🌿 Beautiful, fully furnished treatment room
🌿 Easy parking
🌿 Village centre location with lovely cafés
🌿 Thursdays available initially

I’d love to welcome someone who enjoys collaborating with other practitioners. There are wonderful opportunities for cross-referrals and shared workshops

If this sounds like the right fit, I’d be delighted to show you around. Please send me a DM if you’d like to know more

On hot summer days, many people notice they feel more tired, irritable, restless or struggle to sleep well.

In clinic this week I’ve been supporting people with stress, headaches, sleep issues, hormonal symptoms and ongoing aches and pains.

One of the things I love most about acupuncture is that it creates an opportunity to pause.

An hour away from emails, responsibilities and endless to-do lists.

A chance to rest, reset and be looked after.

And, if I’m honest, the treatment room is beautifully cool at the moment too!

Wishing everyone a gentle day in the sunshine.

Living with a long-term health condition can be exhausting. Whether it’s chronic pain, digestive issues, hormonal changes, autoimmune conditions or simply the stress of managing symptoms day after day, the impact on the nervous system is often overlooked.

One thing I’ve noticed recently is that more healthcare professionals are recognising the value of approaches that support relaxation, resilience and pain management alongside conventional medical care.

Many people choose acupuncture because it offers a dedicated hour to slow down, switch off and support the body’s natural healing processes. Often, patients tell me they leave feeling calmer, more grounded and better able to cope with whatever life is asking of them.

Acupuncture can work beautifully alongside your existing medical treatment and it can be a valuable part of a wider wellbeing plan for some people.

Sometimes feeling a little calmer and sleeping a little better can make a bigger difference than we realise.

If you’d like to come and see me there’s a link to book in my bio or simply ring or message. I’d love to speak to you.

Today I felt like a sweet healthy breakfast…

Wholemeal sourdough
0% Greek yogurt
A scraping of nut butter
Sprinkling of Pistachios
Sliced Banana
Pomegranate seeds
Fresh peach
A tiny drizzle of Manuka honey
A few leaves of grapefruit mint from the garden

Very much in the spirit of the Mediterranean diet: simple ingredients, plenty of plants, healthy fats, fibre, protein and just enough sweetness from fruit and a touch of honey.

The protein from the yogurt and healthy fats from the nuts help balance the natural sugars from the fruit, making this a breakfast that’s both satisfying and energising.

One of the things I love most about summer is being able to step into the garden and pick something fresh for my plate. Today’s addition was grapefruit mint, which adds a lovely fresh, citrusy note alongside the peach and pomegranate.

No complicated recipes. Just real food, seasonal ingredients and a few minutes to put it together.

Who’s in the mood for a sweet breakfast today? ☀️🍑🌿

🌾 Oats or Quinoa for Breakfast? 🥣

This morning I swapped my usual oats for quinoa and it got me thinking about the benefits of both.

Oats have long been a breakfast favourite, and for good reason. They’re rich in fibre, particularly beta-glucans, which are linked to heart health and can help keep us feeling fuller for longer.

Quinoa, however, offers something a little different. Although often thought of as a grain, it’s actually a seed and is naturally higher in protein than oats. It contains all nine essential amino acids, making it a complete protein, and is a good source of magnesium, iron and fibre.

Here I’ve paired it with Greek yogurt, fruits and a sprinkling of goji berries. The quinoa was warm. Try it and let me know what you think ❤️
