Strength

It’s different for anyone.
For me it’s about growth and exploring what I’m capable of. I want to my body to cope with the mountains I throw myself down 🚵🏻‍♂️🏂🤭
I feel like a badass in the gym, my confidence has grown, I can physically do stuff I couldn’t do years ago and I’m building my long term health.

To be able to explore and help my daughter and my mum build confidence and find out what they are capable of is pretty exciting too!

I wish everyone could experience the emotions from the weekend. My first girls trip, we went to
2 days riding 😍

I lost count on how many runs I did that I was too scared to do before. Annoyingly I only fell on the easier stuff 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣

I fell, and I got back lots of times. My smile NEVER left.
I am so proud of myself. In October I was fighting back tears, when I first came to BPW. And stayed on Kermit. I was so anxious about riding.
This weekend I was hitting red tech lines and love them

Today I ordered a brand new bike with bigger expectations and plans for my riding.

I urge you to do something out of your comfort zone. The sense of achievement is mind blowing. You gain confidence if every area of you life. If you can do it with a bunch of strong empowering women even better!

And yes I am sore AF today from those crashes!!

The gym has become my haven, a sanctuary where I can switch off from the world and feel like a total strong badass!
Sometimes I don’t lift my max and I don’t always manage to increase weight or reps but on those days (thanks luteul phase and damn hormones) I work on form or balance and prioritise feeling good.

I bloody love the gym, and what is has done to my mind and body especially when it’s empty! AND I know my old self will benefit too 💪🏻

Friday the 13th wasn’t always unlucky.

Long before fear and superstition, many believe it symbolized something powerful. Femininity, intuition, and cycles of creation.

Friday was linked to the goddess Freyja, associated with love, fertility, and wisdom.

The number 13 mirrors the lunar calendar — 13 moon cycles, 13 menstrual cycles — long connected to women’s bodies and natural rhythms.

Over time, as patriarchal and religious systems took hold, these symbols were slowly reframed as “dangerous” or “unlucky.”
What was once revered… became feared.🙄

So today, maybe Friday the 13th isn’t about bad luck at all.
Maybe it’s about remembering what was powerful before it was silenced. Let’s break the silence
