We're NCT Birth, Feeding and You - offering friendly, non-judgemental, and evidence-based peer support for parents across Peterborough and Cambridgeshire. Our free, community-based service provides a safe and welcoming space for you to talk about infant feeding and emotional wellbeing.
Gemma, our Service Engagement Lead and an NCT Breastfeeding Counsellor, will be at the event - come and say hello! She'll be happy to chat about the support available for local families and answer any questions about feeding your baby, or preparing for feeding.
Whatever your feeding journey looks like, NCT Birth, Feeding and You is here to support you with compassion and trusted information.

A gentle and welcoming stay & play session for families parenting after loss.
Whether you're raising a Rainbow Baby (born after loss), a Sunshine Baby (born before loss), or your family's story includes both, this is a space where you can connect with others who understand the unique journey of parenting after baby loss.

🤍 Led by Kym from SANDS Cambridgeshire, the session offers a supportive and understanding environment where families can come together, share experiences, and build connections. Little ones can enjoy age-appropriate toys and sensory play, while parents and carers have the opportunity to chat, reflect, or simply spend time with others who truly understand.

🌈 Siblings are warmly welcome, and there is no expectation to share more than you feel comfortable with. Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, whether you've attended before or are joining us for the first time, you'll be met with kindness and understanding.

Please come exactly as you are. You are not alone. 💛

We’re delighted to be welcoming The Creative Palette to Happy Mama Hub for a lovely, relaxed creative evening — and this one is all about taking some time for yourself 💛

Join us for a Terracotta Planter Painting Workshop where you’ll get to design and paint your very own 17cm terracotta pot 🌿🎨

No experience needed. No pressure to be “good at art”. Just a couple of hours to switch off, get creative and enjoy doing something just for YOU. ✨

We are excited to announce that the lovely Puddle Ducks Cambridge will be joining us at our Baby and Toddler Event on Saturday 5th September.

Puddle Ducks Cambridge offer baby and pre-school swimming lessons in Cambridge and the surrounding area. From birth to age 4 our mission is to teach every child to love swimming and respect the water. The Baby & Pre-school programme teaches children to be happy and safe in the water. The bonding experience with our very little ones is second to none and the confidence they gain, with many of our swimmers achieving 10m before they start school, gives them skills for life.

Today, as we hear the incredibly sad news of Dolly’s passing, this feels like a beautiful reminder to hold onto.

Because motherhood is a lot like this, isn’t it?

Some days are full of smiles, cuddles and moments you wish you could bottle up forever.

And some days are really, really hard.

You don’t have to make every day perfect. You don’t have to feel positive all the time.

Sometimes, you just have to take the day as it comes and try.

And if today hasn’t gone quite how you’d hoped… tomorrow is another day. 🤍

Natalie is a qualified sleep consultant who specialises in supporting families with children (0-6 years) who are struggling with their sleep. With a specific package for newborns (0-4months) Natalie can help you gain confidence in your baby's sleep needs and understand what normal baby sleep looks like, right from the start.

Over the past 6 years Natalie has improved the lives of countless families. Her gentle approach equips parents with the knowledge and techniques they need to bring about lasting changes to sleep so EVERYONE can reap the benefits of a good night's sleep. She lives in Royston with her husband and two children (including 1 reformed sleeper!) but works with families across the UK.

Natalie will be offering a demo at 12pm for those of you interested!

Has your little one’s Halloween costume been worn once and is now sitting at the back of the wardrobe? Or perhaps you have a cute autumn-themed outfit that no longer fits? 🧡

We’re giving those much-loved items a second life! ♻️

Throughout September, you can donate your child’s Halloween costume or autumn-themed outfit to us and, in return, you’ll be able to join our Autumn & Halloween Costume & Outfit Swap on Saturday 3rd October 🎃

👻 HOW IT WORKS:

🎃 Donate your child’s Halloween costume or autumn-themed outfit throughout September
🧡 Items must be suitable for under 5s
✨ Everything must be immaculate, clean and in excellent condition, ready for another little one to enjoy
☕ Drop-off: Bring your items to the Happy Mama Hub Café and hand them to a member of our café team
♻️ We’ll add your items to our swap collection
🎃 Swap: Join us on Saturday 3rd October in Studio 2 (our Baby Room) and choose something pre-loved for your little one!

🎃 ITEMS CAN INCLUDE:

👻 Traditional Halloween costumes
🎃 Halloween-themed outfits
🕷️ Autumn-themed clothing
🧙‍♀️ Dress-up items and accessories

It’s a lovely way to save money, reduce waste and give those Halloween costumes and autumn outfits another little adventure. 🧡
