🎶💙 'Ukulele Friday' is back! 💙🎶

We had the pleasure of welcoming back the wonderful Bridlington ‘Ukulele Friday’ group this Thursday, and what a lovely afternoon it was! 🪕🎵

It was wonderful to see our residents singing along to so many familiar songs, with plenty of smiles, laughter and memories being shared along the way. ❤️

The group even went the extra mile and learned a special request song just for us — My Old Man’s a Dustman! 🧹🎶 What a fantastic surprise!

A huge thank you to the group for bringing so much joy to Beechwood. We can’t wait to welcome you back on 10th December for a Christmas Special! 🎄🪕🎅

🎨🪨 Getting creative at Beechwood! 🪨🎨

Today we released our inner artists and got creative with some pebble painting! 🖌️✨

There were some absolutely lovely creations, with plenty of imagination, colour and a whole lot of fun along the way! 💙

It might have looked a little messy… but that’s all part of the fun! 😂🎨

🚨 Happy National Emergency Services (999) Day! 🚒🚑👮‍♀️🚤

Today, we wanted to show our appreciation to some of the amazing people who work tirelessly to keep our community safe every single day. ❤️

Claire, our Front of House Manager, visited our local emergency services across Bridlington, including the Ambulance Station, Fire Station and Police Station, as well as the incredible volunteers at the RNLI, delivering some tasty treats lovingly made by our Chef Kim. 🧁🍰

It was our little way of saying thank you for everything you do — often working long hours, in difficult situations, and always putting others first. 🙏

The RNLI team were especially pleased to know there was a nice cuppa and some cake waiting for them when they returned from their exercise! ☕🍰😊

From all of us at Beechwood Care Centre — thank you for keeping our community safe. 💙

🧦💗 CAN YOU HELP OUR SOCKS FIND A GOOD HOME? 💗🧦

We have LOTS of socks at the home that are currently unclaimed, and rather than see them go to waste, we’d love to donate them to a local charity or organisation that could put them to good use.

👉 Do you know a charity, community group, homeless organisation or other good cause that would welcome a large donation of socks?

If you do, please send us a message or let us know when you’re visiting the home. We’d love to make sure our surplus socks can help someone who really needs them. ❤️

👕 HELP US REUNITE CLOTHING WITH ITS OWNERS

We also have a number of unclaimed items of underwear, nightwear and clothing.

If you’re visiting us, please take a look at the rail in the hairdresser to see if anything belongs to your loved one.

And please remember to make sure all clothing is clearly named 🏷️ — it really helps us keep everything together and return items to the right person.
