We are an experienced and established team supporting people living with dementia and those who care for them.

We can support you whether you have received a diagnosis, are worried about memory problems or care for someone living with dementia. Through an innovative range of services we offer the older generation and their caregivers solutions to the problems that they face when confronted with such a life changing diagnosis. Our focus will always be on reducing loneliness and isolation, improving physical and mental wellbeing and helping our clients to maintain their independence and quality of life.

A Wonderful Day Out at Oakham Treasures!🌞

What a lovely day we had on our day trip to Oakham Treasures! 💛

The sunshine came out for us, making it the perfect day to step back in time, explore, and enjoy each other’s company. There were so many wonderful things to see that prompted memories and conversations, bringing stories from the past to life. 🕰️✨

Our visit provided lots of stimulation, shared laughter and, most importantly, friendship. It was lovely to see people reminiscing, remembering the past, sharing experiences and connecting with one another.

Sometimes, going back in time can open the door to precious memories, while simply enjoying the present gives us the chance to make new ones. ❤️

And, of course, no sunny day out would be complete without a picnic in the sun! 🧺🌸☀️

A beautiful day filled with memories, conversations, friendship and sunshine — another special day to remember. 💕

Our Shared Reading sessions is a wonderful activity where we read and enjoy stories together. We found that most people had some experience of this before:-

For example, a parent reading a bedtime story with their child, a teacher reading a book aloud in class, or a group of adults taking turns reading and talking about a story . So it really is a natural fit for our Thursday group

After we read the poem or story we encourage those that want to join in as it’s re read.. Today was definitely a favourite ❤️

People have believed that stories can help us feel better for a very long time. It helps us feel connected especially if the stories or poems bring back memories.
Shared reading can help people understand and express their feelings
Shared stories also create important connections that only a good story can.

✨ Another lovely busy week and cooking has definitely been a theme! 🍲✨ The week couldn’t go by without us trying the Dolly cake, and it was a big hit.

From fresh vegetables straight from the farm turned into delicious homemade soup, to crispy chocolate cakes and plenty of outdoor fun, it’s been a week full of smiles especially at fashion 😉, tasty treats galore . 🌱🥕🍫☀️

We also had the honour of supporting our lovely Ken in saying a very happy birthday to his wife Flo on her 80th birthday! We hope you had a great day x

🌞 Lovely day with friends at Hartcliffe City Farm! 🌿

We’ve had a wonderful day welcoming new friends, making beautiful lavender bags, and preparing soup together. 🪻🥣

There was plenty of fun with target games, lots of laughing and dancing, and, most importantly, enjoying the summer sunshine together! 💃🎯☀️

✨ First days in new places can always be challenging. It did help we had a birthday to celebrate and of course the cake!🍰

Today was all about spending time together, getting to know the space, and enjoying friendly faces. We have had regular visits beforehand , to build and connect, with our new surroundings—and we loved every minute of today’s session.

We would like to also thank Brooklands Cafe for a wonderful lunch and making us so welcome.

☀️💛 Making time for each other during the heatwave has been more important than ever. While we've swapped some of our more vigorous sessions for a gentler approach, we've still made sure to stay active, hydrated, and most importantly, cool!
From enjoying delicious ice cream floats , to discovering a newfound love for our puzzle and board game collection, singing is still a firm favourite and sudden bursts of song is not unusual in our centres. This weeks portrait wall is coming along nicely..so we've found plenty of ways to have fun while escaping the heat. 🍦🧩
We've also continued our local outings, choosing cooler times of the day and places with plenty of shade so everyone can stay comfortable and enjoy themselves safely.
It's been wonderful to see everyone adapting, supporting one another, and making the most of the summer weather together. 🌳❤️

🌞🐑 Summer fun at Hartcliffe City Farm! 🌿💚

It’s been wonderful spending time with old friends and new, while celebrating some very special birthdays along the way. 🎂🎉

We’ve enjoyed the beautiful scenery, visits from the sheep 🐑, and plenty of ways to keep cool, stay safe and stay hydrated. 💧☀️

From bowling under our shelter 🎳 to beach ball fun 🏖️⚽, there’s been lots of laughter, movement and cognitive stimulation. 🧠

And, of course, we couldn’t forget birthday bingo! 🎉🎂

A lovely day filled with friendship, fun and plenty of smiles. ❤️😊
