⭐️⭐️ CRYSTAL SPOTLIGHT ⭐️⭐️

SPHALERITE HEARTS -

Sphalerite is one of those crystals that feels like it deserves far more attention than it usually gets.

It has this really interesting balance to it because, energetically, it is often associated with both grounding and activation. It does not just calm everything down and leave you there. It helps you find your feet again, then reminds you that you are still capable of moving.

That makes it a beautiful crystal for periods where you have felt flat, unmotivated, creatively blocked or simply a little disconnected from yourself, also perfect for this time of year as we pass through Mabon and the autumn Equinox.

There is something very “come back into your body, come back into your confidence, come back into your own energy” about Sphalerite.

It is often linked with motivation, creativity, self-belief, confidence and helping us recognise where we have been giving too much of our energy away. It can feel especially supportive when you are trying to stop second-guessing yourself and start trusting your own instincts again.

And these being hearts adds such a lovely layer to that energy, helping to bring the kind of confidence that comes from feeling safe enough in yourself to actually be who you are.

These would be gorgeous for keeping on a desk, holding during journalling or meditation, or simply carrying when you are working through one of those periods where you know you need a little spark back.

💛 Sphalerite Hearts – £9 each
3 available.

A lovely crystal for anyone rebuilding their energy, confidence or creative momentum.

⭐️⭐️ NEW on The Haven Whispers ⭐️⭐️

This week feels like a real turning point (at last!) 🍂

We’re moving through Mabon and the Autumn Equinox, reflecting on balance, gratitude and what we want to carry with us into the darker half of the year… before finishing the week with a fiery Full Moon in Aries. 🌕

In the new blog I’m sharing simple seasonal rituals, moon guidance, a Mabon apple gratitude ritual, ideas for preparing for autumn, and a little look at our upcoming Full Moon Circle, where we’ll be making fire cider together 🥰

This blog is a particularly lovely one for slowing down, taking stock and deciding what deserves to come with you into the next season.

🍁🍂🌰Conker Magic 🌰🍂🍁

There’s something so nostalgic about finding the first conkers of autumn… those beautiful, glossy little treasures appearing beneath the Horse Chestnut trees are one of those signs that autumn is well and truly arriving. 🍁

But conkers have their place in folklore and folk magic too. They’ve long been associated with protection, luck, strength and abundance, their hard, protective casing makes them rather perfect for sympathetic magic, a little reminder to strengthen our own energetic boundaries as we move into the darker half of the year.

And of course… there’s the belief that conkers keep spiders out of the house! 🕷️😂 worth collecting out for that reason alone!

You’ll often hear of people putting them on windowsills and beside doors to deter our eight-legged friends. There isn’t good evidence that conkers actually repel spiders, but I rather like the folklore anyway, a few conkers by the doorway make a beautiful autumnal protection charm regardless!

🌰A simple conker protection spell

Take a conker in your hands and think about what you want your home to feel protected from, unwanted energy, negativity, stress or anything that simply doesn’t belong in your space.

Hold it tightly and say:

“Seed of autumn, strong and round,
Guard this home and sacred ground.
Only love may enter here,
All unwanted things stay clear.”

Place it beside your front door or on a windowsill. Bonus points if the spiders take the hint. 😂🕷️

🍂 abundance spell

Choose a particularly beautiful conker and hold it while thinking about something you’d like to grow during the coming months, perhaps your business, confidence, creativity, finances, relationships or simply your own sense of wellbeing.

Whisper your intention into it, then keep it somewhere meaningful - on your altar, beside your purse, in your work space or tucked into a little spell pouch with cinnamon or a bay leaf.

And when you find conkers while you’re out walking, you could simply pick one up and make it an autumn talisman. Hold it for a moment and think of something you’re grateful for, then carry it with you as a tiny reminder of what you already have.

magic doesn’t need to be elaborate, sometimes it’s walking beneath the trees in September sunshine, stuffing your pockets with conkers, leaves and other autumnal treasures and suddenly feeling about eight years old again 🥰🍁🍂

Nature leaves little pieces of magic everywhere. We just have to remember to notice them 🐦‍⬛

🍂🍁🍎Card of the Day🍎🍁🍂

Queen of the Dead

“Fear not the rage of fire living within, for it is the power of your fierceness waiting to taste you fully.”

There’s a very different energy coming through today..!

As we reach Mabon and stand at the threshold of the darker half of the year, the Queen of the Dead reminds us that darkness does not mean weakness.. Look at her!

She isn’t hiding from the dark, she wears the bones and sits beneath the black moon, serpents rising beside her, staring straight back at us.

There is something fierce here, I think this card is asking us to look at the parts of ourselves we’ve been taught to soften.

Our anger.. Our boundaries.. Our desire.. Our voice.. The part of us that finally says enough..

We’re often taught that these parts of ourselves are somehow undesirable, particularly anger, but anger can tell us when a boundary has been crossed, it can show us where something matters and it can be the fire that finally makes us change something we have tolerated for far too long.

The Queen of the Dead isn’t asking us to unleash that fire without thought, She asks us not to fear it, because there is a difference between being consumed by your fire and learning how to hold it without getting burned.

As the earth begins its descent towards winter, perhaps there is something within you that no longer needs to be carried quietly into the dark.

💜A little Queen of the Dead ritual

Light a candle and sit with it for a few moments.

Think about something that has been stirring your fire recently.. something you’re angry about, frustrated by, tired of accepting or simply ready to change.

Instead of pushing that feeling away, ask it:

What are you trying to show me?

Write whatever comes without judging it. Then place your hands over your heart or solar plexus and say:

“I do not fear the fire within me.
I listen to its wisdom.
I honour my boundaries.
I trust my voice.
My fire belongs to me.”

Blow out the candle when you’re ready, knowing the flame hasn’t disappeared, you carry it.

Journaling question for today:

Where have you been making yourself smaller to make other people more comfortable?

🍁🍂🍎 Mabon Card of the Day 🍎🍂🍁

Kitchen Witchery -

“Abundance flows easily and effortlessly into your life. Be in gratitude.”

As we continue our journey towards Mabon, today’s card brings us into one of my favourite places to find magic.. the kitchen 🥰 witchcraft doesn’t always need candles, circles and elaborate rituals.

Sometimes it looks like chopping vegetables, stirring a pot, baking bread, adding herbs to our food or even making someone a cup of tea.

Look at the image on this card. She isn’t standing before an elaborate altar. She’s in her kitchen, surrounded by jars, herbs and food, with the harvest visible through the window, yet, it is all magic.

Mabon is a harvest festival, traditionally a time of gathering, sharing and giving thanks for what the earth has provided, I think there’s something important in the wording of this card:

“Be in gratitude.”

Because abundance isn’t always about receiving more, often, it’s about noticing what we already have.

Food in the cupboard, a warm drink, the people we love, a home that shelters us and enough ingredients to make dinner.

So much of what was once hoped for can eventually become ordinary enough that we stop noticing it, so make part of your Mabon is simply noticing again.

🍎Kitchen Witchery ritual🍎

Today, make something with intention, it doesn’t have to be elaborate.. your evening meal, something baked, a cup of tea or even a piece of toast, it really doesn’t matter.

As you prepare it, slow down and think about what you’d like to bring a little more of into your life.

Stir clockwise to draw something towards you.. love, abundance, peace, confidence, creativity.

Add your ingredients intentionally and, before you eat or drink, take a moment to acknowledge everything that brought this food to you.

say:

“For the earth that grew it,
the hands that gathered it,
and the home in which I receive it..
I give thanks.”

Sometimes magic is simply remembering that the ordinary is sacred too 🫶

Journaling question for today:

Where does abundance already exist in your life that you may have stopped noticing?

It’s been a minute since I last did our seasonal cards.. but I have a few minutes so thought now would be a great time to restart! As usual, I’ll be using the Seasons of the Witch oracle cards (Mabon)

Card of the Day:

Harvest Witch 🌾

As we begin our journey towards Mabon and the Autumn Equinox, our first card asks us to look back before we look forward. The Harvest Witch asks:

“What sacrifices have you made for the greater vision of what is to be?”

And perhaps sacrifice sounds a little heavy.. But not every sacrifice is a loss, sometimes it is the thing we chose not to do.

It could be the comfort we left behind, the boundary we finally held, the money we saved, a relationship we outgrew, all of the extra hours we put in or the habit we changed. Or maybe the version of ourselves we had to leave behind because they could only take us so far.

The image itself is filled with harvest. The fields have been worked, the crops gathered, pumpkins sit beside the home and a woman and child carry their basket together. There is something beautifully generational about it too, one person passing the harvest into the hands of another.

And that feels important because a harvest doesn’t begin at harvest time, long before we gather anything, there was a seed. Then tending.. Waiting.. Work.. Perhaps disappointment.

Perhaps something didn’t grow at all or something grew in a completely different direction from the one we’d imagined.

And then comes the harvest.

As we approach Mabon, this card asks us not only to practise gratitude for what we have, but to honour what it took to get here.

Look at your own life for a moment, there are things surrounding you now that a previous version of you once hoped for.

There are things you’ve achieved that you’ve already stopped celebrating because they have simply become part of everyday life.

There are difficult decisions you made months or even years ago whose harvest you may only now be beginning to understand.

And there may also be seeds that never grew.

Mabon doesn’t ask us to pretend every field was abundant. Harvest wisdom is knowing what flourished, what failed, what needs gathering and what should be returned to the earth.

🍎 A little Harvest Witch ritual

Take an apple, wonderfully fitting for this time of year 🥰 and hold it for a moment.

Think of one thing you have brought to fruition this year. It doesn’t have to be enormous. Something you built, survived, changed, learned, created, healed, protected or finally chose for yourself.

Then think about what it required from you.

Cut the apple horizontally through its centre and you’ll reveal the little five-pointed star held within its core. ⭐

Place one half somewhere meaningful for a little while, on your altar, beside a candle or simply on a plate, as a symbol of your harvest.

Eat the other half slowly, with gratitude, allowing yourself to actually receive what you’ve worked for.

Later, return the remaining apple to the earth where appropriate, or compost it, with a simple:

“I honour what was sown.
I honour what was given.
I honour what has grown.
And I welcome the harvest that is mine.”

Journaling question for today:
What are you harvesting now that an earlier version of you had to work, wait or sacrifice for?

⭐️⭐️ CRYSTAL SPOTLIGHT ⭐️⭐️

💚 MONEY AGATE 💚

Abundance • Prosperity • Opportunity • Confidence • Growth • Stability

Money Agate is one of those crystals that feels made for anyone working towards something:

A goal.
A business.
A new opportunity.
A more secure future.
A life that feels a little more abundant and a little less restricted.

Traditionally associated with prosperity and financial growth, Money Agate is often used in manifestation work around abundance, success and attracting opportunities but I always think its energy goes deeper than simply “bringing money in.”

It feels much more like recognising opportunities when they appear, making grounded decisions, building confidence around money and success, creating stability rather than chasing quick fixes, encouraging steady growth, staying focused on long-term goals whether financial or not, releasing scarcity thinking and feeling worthy of receiving more.

Agate itself is such a grounding, stabilising stone, so this one has a really lovely balance to it.

It is not chaotic “get rich quick” energy.

It is more plant the seed, nurture it, make necessary moves and the growth.

Which, honestly, feels far more useful. 😂

These palm stones are perfect for holding during manifestation work, keeping on a desk or near your business space, placing beside a money bowl or prosperity candle, or simply carrying when you need a reminder that abundance is something you are allowed to create and receive.

✨ A NEW CHAPTER IS BEGINNING… ✨

There’s something really special about creating something that feels truly you.

Over the past few months, I’ve been learning, preparing and getting everything ready behind the scenes, and it’s getting very real now. 🌙

I’m so excited to be bringing Goddess Haven to my corner of the world as the South Bristol/North Somerset branch of Goddess Haven.

There’s still a little way to go before we officially open on 1 October… ☀️

But the journey has already begun. 💜

✨ 14 days to go ✨

Have you ever wanted to hold your own group sound baths?

Maybe you already love working with sound, perhaps you’ve started collecting a few instruments, or maybe you’ve experienced sound baths yourself and thought, I’d love to be able to do this.

Training with The Goddess Haven will give you the knowledge, practical experience and tools you need to confidently hold the room and take a group through a beautiful soundscape journey of your own.

And this is not your average one-day or one-weekend certificate course.

We’ll spend four Saturdays together, combining classroom learning with lots of hands-on practice. You’ll learn how to work with the instruments, build and structure a sound journey, understand safety and trauma-aware practice, and perhaps most importantly, learn how to actually hold space for a group.

Outside of those teaching days, you’ll be able to come back to The Goddess Haven by appointment to practise with our instruments, so you don’t need to own everything yourself.

You’ll also have the opportunity to attend 2–4 of my regular professional sound baths, either to observe how I facilitate and hold the room or simply lie down, receive and experience the journey from the other side. ❤️

Then comes the practical experience: two case-study sound baths, followed by your final practical assessment, so that when you qualify, you can feel genuinely confident that you’re ready to begin facilitating your own sessions.

And the support doesn’t simply disappear when the certificate is handed over. Ongoing support is part of the journey too.

Training begins Saturday 3rd October
The Goddess Haven, Kingswood, Bristol
Klarna is available through the website or instalments to The Goddess Haven.

If you’ve been thinking “I’d love to do this…” perhaps this is your sign. 🥰

Full course details, dates and booking are available on the website.

🍂🍁 The Quiet Hour is on today, 1–2pm 🍁🍂

Today we’ll be slowing things right down with a beautiful autumn inspired guided meditation, exploring gratitude, the changing seasons and noticing what we might be ready to loosen our grip on.

We’ll finish with some quiet reflection and optional journaling over a cup of herbal tea.

No pressure to talk or share, just an hour to get comfortable, switch off from everything else and have a little time for yourself.

There are still a few spaces if anyone fancies joining me this afternoon. 💜
