🌞 Garden Games on a Sunny Saturday! 🌿

Saturday afternoon was all about enjoying the fresh air and a bit of friendly competition as our residents headed into the garden for a game (or two!) of Connect Four.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and strategic moves as everyone got involved. It’s always wonderful to see residents enjoying time outdoors, socialising, and making the most of the beautiful weather.

What a lovely day out with these wonderful ladies at the Willow Brook Centre! 💕

We enjoyed a spot of retail therapy, browsing the shops and picking up a few treats along the way. Of course, no shopping trip would be complete without a sneaky stop at McDonald’s for a delicious burger! 😁🍔

It was a day filled with laughter, great company, and making special memories together. We can’t wait for our next adventure!

🎵 A Wonderful Day at The Vassalls Community Hub 🎵

Yesterday, it was wonderful to visit our friends at The Vassalls Community Hub for another fantastic afternoon together.

We had a fun-filled sing-along with The Golden Oldies Club, where residents could request their favourite songs throughout the session. It was lovely to see so much singing, smiling, and engagement from everyone involved.

After the music, everyone enjoyed a delicious two-course lunch at the hub’s lunch club, before rounding off the day with a lively game of bingo, which was a big hit with the group!

A huge thank you to everyone at The Vassalls Community Hub for another warm welcome. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! ❤️

A Special Hedgehog Memory at Beech House 🦔❤️

One of our wonderful carers, Rose, recently captured a very special moment in our garden with Ken, who is a keen animal lover.

When they spotted a hedgehog together, Ken was absolutely delighted and couldn’t believe they had seen one right here in our own garden! It’s a moment he often talks about, and it was clear just how much it meant to him.

To make the memory even more special, Rose kindly went out and had the photos printed and framed so Ken could look back on this lovely experience whenever he wishes. Ken was over the moon and now proudly has the photos displayed on his wall. ❤️

Thank you so much, Rose, for your kindness, thoughtfulness, and for going the extra mile to create such a meaningful memory. It’s moments like these that truly make a difference. 🌿

A Lovely Day Out at Tortworth Farm Shop & Cafe 🌿☕

Today Margaret, Christine, and Bill enjoyed a wonderful trip to Tortworth Farm Shop & Cafe.

They enjoyed a delicious lunch together with a beautiful view, followed by a little browse around the shop where they picked up a couple of lovely treats. 🍰

To finish off the trip, they took a gentle stroll through the stunning countryside, taking in the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. 😍

It was a perfect day filled with good food, great company, and wonderful memories made together. ❤️

An Unexpected Musical Treat at Field House 🥁✨

Sometimes it’s the unexpected moments that make a day truly special for our residents.

Today, we were delighted to welcome a very special guest — a member of staff’s son who came in to share his talent by playing his African drum. He entertained a group of residents in the dining room, filling the space with wonderful rhythms and smiles.

Many residents enjoyed having a go themselves, creating their own beats and joining in with the fun. The Wellbeing Team then took him around to spend time with individuals, giving even more residents the chance to enjoy this unique experience.

It was a joyful afternoon filled with music, connection, and lots of happy memories. A big thank you for sharing your talent with us! ❤️

A Slice of Nostalgia at Glebe House 🎂✨

This afternoon we enjoyed a lovely baking session at Glebe House, making a classic old school cake!

With the wonderful help of Audrey and David, we mixed, baked, and created a delicious cake that brought back memories of traditional school treats. There were plenty of smiles along the way, and we can’t wait to enjoy a slice together! 🍰

A Busy Day Out at Field House ☕🌿

It’s been a busy and enjoyable day at Field House!

This morning, one group of residents enjoyed a relaxing coffee on the Downs, taking in the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. Then, in the afternoon, another group headed out to a lovely local café in Henleaze for more good company, delicious refreshments, and plenty of conversation.

Getting out and about in the local community is always a highlight, and today was filled with smiles, friendship, and special moments. We’re already looking forward to our next outing! 💚
