John Wills House residents enjoyed an Italian themed Supper Club this week. The food was superb! The evening was complimented by having Travis playing an array of popular tunes on the piano. Our thanks go out to Dan and his team.

Another brilliant resident's Supper Club at John Wills House!

This month we went fully Greek with a sensational moussaka main course with Greek salad, flat breads and tzatziki.

This month's Supper Club cabaret was Bristol based guitarist and singer extraordinaire Geoff Woodland, who wooed and wowed us with a set of great folk and rock 'n' roll songs, as well as a selection of Rogers & Hammerstein showstoppers - all served up with some great between song storytelling.

It's Geoff's birthday this week. We've promised not to reveal his age in case Club 18-30 want their money back, but we can say it corresponds exactly with the number of Trombones passing in the Big Parade! Happy Birthday Geoff!

John Wills House Care Home residents went to Weston-Super-Mare, lots of fun on the pier and a delicious fish & chip lunch was enjoyed by all, we enjoyed breathing in the crisp salty air and watching seagull soar against a sunlit sky.

Our thanks go out to the staff (Michael & Jade) of the Boardwalk Cafe who made sure we were catered for and served us promptly.

Many thanks to John Wills House staff & minibus drivers Dave and John for making it such a wonderful day out.

John Wills House Care Home and Westbury Fields retirement village Gardening Club held a plant sale, along with a guided tour of the village gardens and cream teas and refreshments. All with the help of the pupils of Redmaids' High School.

The event was in aid of Children's Hospice South West. Our thanks to everyone for supporting this event and to the all the amazing staff. A nice afternoon was had by all who attended.

The residents of John Wills House Care Home, and Westbury Fields retirement village Gardening Club have enjoyed the fruits of their labours.

It's been challenging with the recent weather and the slugs but we have all worked hard over the last few months. The residents and staff connected well as a team and have produced a beautiful garden for everyone to enjoy. 🍓🌱

Friday afternoon John Wills House welcomed the wonderful Bristol Ukelele Group (BUG) through their doors, a lovely afternoon was had by all who attended, residents enjoyed singing along to many popular songs.

A lovely evening enjoyed by the residents of John Wills House, their monthly Supper Club had a mexican theme with nice food and a chilled atmosphere, we were delighted to have Shannon sing for us, our thanks go out to everyone for their help and support.
