Sensory Session

Sylvia enjoyed a sensory session with the magic sand. She said that it felt soft and was able to mould it into different shapes. Mike supported Sylvia in creating a few shapes, and they both had lots of fun during the activity.

Everyone enjoyed another fantastic Pub Club, with plenty of delicious snacks and refreshing drinks on offer.
We all sang lots of our favourite songs and enjoyed each other’s company. It was a great way to spend the afternoon, encouraging friendships and socialising together.

Sarah and Irene enjoyed a trip to the Riverside café at the Co-op. It was a lovely day to walk over. Irene had a soft pudding, while Sarah enjoyed a slice of cheesecake. They both had a look around the local Co-op. It is so nice to be able to enjoy these facilities right on our doorstep.

A Fun Afternoon of Singing and Dancing

We all enjoyed a fun afternoon with Peter and Mike singing karaoke, while Esme entertained everyone with her wonderful tap dancing. The residents enjoyed joining in with all the old songs, singing along and having lots of fun together. Even little Maverick joined in with the tap dancing, which brought plenty of smiles and laughter to the afternoon. It was a lovely afternoon filled with music, dancing and happy memories.

Ann Louise, our lovely vicar, kindly led our church service this week. We enjoyed prayers, hymns and Holy Communion, along with lots of wonderful stories and refreshments. It was so nice to bring everyone together and share such a warm and welcoming time, no matter what faith you have. ❤️

A Wonderful Trip to Weston-super-Mare

John, Josie, Tuck and Syeda all enjoyed a trip to the Star Carvery last Friday. We then drove on to Weston-super-Mare for a wonderful walk around the pier and, of course, an ice cream.

It was lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves. We also had a go on the 2p machines, which brought back lots of happy memories from our younger days. We talked about sandy sandwiches and ice creams on the beach. The tide was out, the sun was shining, and we enjoyed a wonderful sea breeze.

We would like to say a big thank you to all the staff who make these trips happen and, as always, to our bus driver, Mike, for always taking so much time and care to ensure we have the perfect trip.

It was a lovely day filled with laughter, sunshine and happy memories, and we are already looking forward to our next adventure!

Flourish Dance Session

Lauren was back from Flourish Dance with a fun-filled afternoon of dancing and exercise. She brought lots of props for us to use, which everyone really enjoyed. As always, we love seeing Lauren dance—she brings so much happiness and joy to every session. She always takes the time to remember all the residents’ names, making everyone feel welcomed and included. It was another wonderful afternoon filled with smiles, movement and lots of fun!
