🌙 Monday Museful Moment 🌙

A new week doesn’t have to carry the weight of the last one.

So often, we bring yesterday’s worries, last week’s disappointments, or even old stories we’ve been telling ourselves for years into each new day. But what if today could simply be a fresh start?

With the energy of todays new moon inviting reflection and new intentions, this is a beautiful opportunity to gently let go of anything that isn’t supporting your wellbeing and choose what you’d like to carry forward instead.

It doesn’t have to be a dramatic change. Often, it’s the smallest habits that create the biggest shifts.

✨ Taking your flower essence each morning
✨ Spending 10 minutes outside in nature
✨ Writing in a journal
✨ Pausing to think of three things you’re grateful for
✨ Choosing one kind thought to repeat to yourself throughout the day

Every sunrise offers another chance to begin again.

And it’s amazing how this simple shift in perspective, recognising that each day is a new opportunity rather than a continuation of yesterday, can positively influence our emotional, mental and physical wellbeing.

So as you step into this new week, ask yourself:

What would I like to leave behind? And what would I love to nurture instead?

One small intention. One gentle habit. One fresh start.

I’m going to start journalling in my moon diary again as this is something I let slip when life gets chaotic.

Wishing you a week filled with hope, compassion and moments of nourishment 💜

💜 Foundation Friday 💜

This week’s Foundation Friday looks a little different.

Life has required me to step away from work for a temporary period and lean more fully into caring for family and friends that I love.

And whilst I haven’t been creating, planning or “doing” in the way I usually would, I’ve realised that this, too, is foundation work.

Because foundations aren’t built solely in the productive seasons.

They’re built in the boundaries we set.

The support we ask for.

The compassion we extend to ourselves when life doesn’t go to plan.

The quiet moments that remind us what truly matters.

So if this week hasn’t looked the way you hoped it would, please know you’re not behind.

Sometimes the most important work is simply tending to what needs you most.

Wishing you a gentle weekend 💜

💜 Monday Mindful Moment 💜

There are seasons in life when it’s simply about self-care and remembering the little things that help you find your way back to yourself.

This weekend I was reflecting on the practices I return to most often …

🌸 Pause and ask, “How am I really feeling?” Then choose the support you need with intention.

🌿 Connect with something alive – a plant, a pet, a friend, the earth beneath your feet. Connection softens the nervous system and reminds us we’re not alone.

😂 Laugh. Often. Ageing with grace doesn’t have to mean taking ourselves too seriously. I fully intend to continue ageing disgracefully (much to Tyler’s embarrassment).

✨ Practice gratitude. Three small moments of appreciation can gently shift the mind towards abundance.

☀️ Step outside. Even ten minutes of fresh air and natural light can make a difference.

💚 Nourish your body. Support it with the things that help you feel your best, from the inside out, for me that includes Glycans.

🚶‍♀️ Move. It doesn’t have to be a workout. Dance in the kitchen, stretch while the kettle boils, walk to the post box.

😊 Smile. Simple, powerful, and contagious. My smile is the one thing I will never lose and I’m all for smiling while I still have teeth!

Mindfulness doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it’s found in the smallest rituals, repeated consistently and with love.

For me at the moment, with my external world feeling challenging, practicing gratitude feels important.
Which one speaks to you most today?

💜 Foundation Friday 💜

When I first started talking about foundations, I thought mostly about the things that help us build towards our goals – our daily habits, our nutrition, our mindset, our routines, and the small choices that move us forward.

This week has reminded me that foundations aren’t most important when life is calm. They’re most important when life feels chaotic.

Over the past few weeks, much of my focus has been on supporting my mum through some health challenges. There have been hospital appointments, endless phone calls, difficult conversations, uncertainty, and more than a few moments where it has all felt overwhelming.

And if I’m honest, I’m tired.

Not the kind of tiredness that comes after a busy day and is fixed by a good night’s sleep, but the kind of fatigue that can build after weeks of carrying responsibilities, navigating uncertainty, supporting others, and trying to hold everything together.

It’s reminded me that prolonged stress asks a lot of our bodies and minds. Sometimes fatigue isn’t a sign that we’re doing something wrong. Sometimes it’s simply a sign that we’ve been carrying a lot for a long time.

What I’ve realised is that the foundations we build aren’t just there to help us move forward when life is going well. They’re there to support us when life feels difficult too.

For me, that has meant returning to the simple things: nourishing my body, getting outside when I can, taking moments to pause and breathe, and leaning into the daily habits that help me feel more grounded and resilient.

Those things haven’t removed the challenges, but they have helped me maintain enough steadiness and strength to keep showing up for what matters most.

This week, Foundation Friday isn’t about business progress or achievements. It’s a reminder that the foundations we build today are often the things that carry us through tomorrow’s challenges.

If life feels a little heavy for you right now, I hope you’re finding small ways to nourish and support yourself too. Sometimes the most important thing we can do isn’t to push harder – it’s to strengthen the foundations that help us keep going.

Wishing you a peaceful weekend 💜

💜 Monday Museful Moment 💜

I’ve been reminded recently that life can become unexpectedly complicated.

💫 Plans change.
💫 Priorities shift.
💫 Some seasons ask us to focus on simply getting through the day.

What I’ve learned is that while we can’t always control what happens around us, we can choose how we respond.

Life doesn’t always unfold the way we’d hoped.

Sometimes it brings challenges we never expected, asks more of us than we feel able to give, and leaves us carrying things that feel far heavier than they should.

In those moments, it’s easy to become hardened, cynical, or closed off.

But perhaps our greatest strength isn’t in avoiding life’s difficulties.

Perhaps it’s in choosing kindness when we’re tired.
Patience when we’re stretched.
Compassion when we’re hurting.
Integrity when nobody would know otherwise.

The world doesn’t need perfect people.

It needs people who continue to bring light, warmth and humanity, even when life feels difficult.

That’s the kind of strength that quietly changes things.

✨ Wishing you a gentle start to the week 💜

Sometimes we have to recognise when life is asking us to slow down.

Lately I’ve been supporting family and friends through some difficult health situations, and if I’m honest, I’m carrying quite a lot emotionally and practically right now.

On top of that, I’ve also been stuck in a POTS flare for the last three days, which is probably my body’s way of telling me I need to stop trying to push through everything.

So for this next week, I’m going to step back from the pressure of scheduled posts - Monday Museful Moments, Wednesday Wisdom and Foundation Friday, and release trying to keep everything ticking along as normal.

This isn’t quitting. It’s listening to my body and mind saying, “you need a little breathing space.”

I’ll still pop on when I can, but for now I’m allowing myself a week with less pressure and hopefully some rest.

Thank you for understanding, and sending love to anyone else who’s carrying a lot right now too.

💜 Monday Museful Moment 💜

Somebody once told me that one of the things they remembered most about me was my smile.

And over the years, so many people have said similar things- about my smile, my joy, my contagious spirit.

The funny thing is, I never really realised I smiled that much. But too many people have mentioned it now for it not to be true.

And when I really thought about it this weekend, I realised something …

No matter what life has brought me: the losses, the grief, the challenges, the heartbreak, the dark seasons, one thing I’ve never lost is my smile.

It’s easy to smile when life feels light and everything is flowing beautifully.
But to still find a smile during the harder chapters, I think that comes from somewhere deeper.
Resilience. Strength. Hope.

This week marks 30 years since my dad passed away, and there’s a song about smiling that has always held something special between us. So I wanted to share it. 💜

Maybe take a couple of minutes today, pause, listen … and smile.

Life feels heavy for a lot of people right now. And even if you feel like there’s nothing to smile about, maybe just try it anyway.

You might find that just for a moment, things feel a little lighter 😊

💜 FOUNDATION FRIDAY 💜
‘Insights into the Ancora Roots Pathway’

The deeper I move into this work, the more I realise that healing is not built through pressure.

It is built through foundations.

So much of modern wellness still focuses on “doing more”, more discipline, more productivity, more pushing, more meditation, more striving to become a “better” version of yourself.

But the Ancora Roots Pathway is slowly showing me something very different.

That before growth comes safety.
Before expansion comes grounding.
Before resilience comes nourishment.

Because anything built without strong foundations eventually struggles to hold itself.

💫 Trees need roots before they can grow tall.
💫 The nervous system needs safety before the body can truly heal.
💫 Cells need nourishment and communication before the body can adapt well to stress and health challenges.
💫 Humans need moments of stillness before they can continue holding space for others.

This is why I’ve become so passionate about a more foundational approach to wellbeing.

Physically through glycans and cellular nourishment AND emotionally through flower essences, nervous system regulation, grounding practices, connection to nature, and learning how to create safety within the body again.

I think many people are exhausted not because they are weak but because they have spent too long surviving without enough foundational support beneath them.

And perhaps real healing is not about becoming “more.”

Perhaps it’s about becoming more rooted.
More supported.
More regulated.
More nourished.
More connected to ourselves.

That is the heart of Ancora Roots.

And interestingly, that same theme of ‘foundations’ is also flowing into my work behind the scenes right now too.

Over the coming weeks I’ll be strengthening the foundations of my website - creating a more aligned container for the body of work I’m bringing through.

A space where glycans, flower essences, crystals, nervous system support, Ancora creations and future pathways can all exist with greater clarity, intention and grounding.

My focus for the coming week is going to be creating stronger roots beneath what already exists 💜

💜 Monday Museful Moment 💜

This week’s little reminder for myself, happiness really is an inside job.

Not in a “just be positive” kind of way, because life can be a lot sometimes.
But more in the sense that the little moments that make us feel human, grounded and ourselves are usually the things that matter most.

💫 A cup of tea when it’s still hot for once.
💫 Five quiet minutes.
💫 A voice note from a friend.
💫 Sunshine through the window.
💫 That moment your nervous system unclenches a bit and you realise you can breathe deeper.

I think we often wait for life to calm down before we let ourselves feel happy.
Like we need the perfect circumstances first. The clear to-do list, the answers, the energy, the healed body or fewer symptoms, the less chaotic week!

Meanwhile joy is usually hiding in the tiny everyday moments we almost miss.

And trust me, I need this reminder as much as anyone right now.

So this week I’m trying to notice the little things more instead of constantly focusing on everything that still needs sorting.

Because maybe happiness isn’t something we finally arrive at one day, maybe it’s something we gently create in the middle of real life.

I would love to hear what one tiny thing made you smile today? 💜

💜 Foundation Friday 💜
‘Inside the Ancora Roots Pathway’

This week has been full on - hospital appointments with mum, supporting friends, life feeling a little paused whilst I hold space for the people I love.

If I’m honest, there hasn’t been a huge amount of “doing” in the business this week, but what I have realised is just how important foundations are.

Everything needs foundations in order to grow and thrive.

Trees need roots.
Humans need healthy cells.
Businesses need systems, structure, clarity, and support.

And that’s exactly where my focus is turning now within Ancora.

Over the next couple of months, I’ll be quietly restructuring and evolving the website — especially the shop, so it becomes more than just a general collection of products.

I want it to feel clear, intentional, trustworthy and easy to navigate. A space where my own creations, pathways, and support tools are visible, understood, and deeply felt.

This means …
🌿 categorising and refining products
🌿 creating clearer pathways through the websites shop
🌿 gathering visuals and updating listings
🌿 making the whole experience simpler and more aligned

Then in June, I’ll be collaborating with my gorgeous tech expert and bestie Sharon Talbot to help bring the vision into form with her expertise and support, because none of us grow alone.

Strong foundations are rarely built in one dramatic moment. They’re built slowly through support, consistency, boundaries, systems, daily rituals and staying connected to what truly matters.

So alongside the practical work, I’ll also be focusing on …
✨ mentoring and accountability
✨ collaboration and support
✨ protecting my time and energy
✨ nature, rest, connection, and regulation

Sometimes the most important growth happens beneath the surface first 💜
