Cancer Care Coordinator Vacancy

Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference to people's lives?

We are delighted to invite applications for a Cancer Care Coordinator to join our warm, supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team at Coastal Fareham & Gosport PCN.

As a key member of our Primary Care Network, you will be based within a local cluster of GP practices working closely with patients, their families and carers to ensure they receive compassionate and high-quality support.

Routine GP Appointments

Due to staff leaving the practice and sickness, we currently have fewer routine GP appointments available.

Please consider whether your request is urgent and needs to be dealt with today.

If your query is not urgent, you may find support from other services such as your local pharmacy. For advice about a child, the NHS Healthier Together website offers helpful guidance.

We understand how frustrating this situation can be. We have recruited new GPs who will join us once the recruitment process is complete.

Please remember that we operate a zero tolerance policy for any form of abuse, aggression, or threatening behaviour toward our team. Our Care Navigators are working extremely hard to accommodate as many requests as they can during a challenging period.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

When you quit, your amazing brain starts producing dopamine — your natural happy hormone — all on its own again.
A calmer, less stressed you is closer than you think.

We are closed 25th and 26th December. If you need urgent medical help when we are closed please visit https://111.nhs.uk/ or call 111. If it's an emergency please call 999.

Remember, the NHS is always here for you when you need us - even on the Christmas and New Year bank holidays.

If you're not sure whether something needs urgent help or where to go for it, you can call 111 or visit 111 online, at any time of the day or night. They can offer you advice on how to treat the issue yourself, or let you know the best place for you to go for help. There are also pharmacies open every day, including Christmas Day, that are able to offer you advice and treatment for many common conditions. To find the nearest one open near you, search 'NHS find a pharmacy.'

Wishing a very Merry Christmas to all our staff, patients, friends and partners. 🎄 ☃️ 🎁
