So much hair!!!! 😍

With a fresh pink dye was back last Thursday evening for some more rows 😋

Emma is enjoying getting to know her new dreads stage by stage - these rows where created with self love, kindness and independence intention 💖

Already getting lots of compliments and the usual questions - can you wash them 😂

Playing with peekaboo styles before full head loc at the end of the month 😍

To fringe or not to fringe - that is the next big question! 🤔

116 Sprint Trophy Oulton Park 🏁

Bit late in posting... but I thought you might like to see what I get up to once a month - pit crew for my son around the country! 😃 fu***ng love it!

Starting with a track day Friday to test engine, tyre pressures, breaks etc - good job too as the break pads shot through and set on fire mid fu***ng lap!! 🔥

Damage assessment was new pads, discs and calipers.. After a mad ring round and scramble to some car part places we successfully secured them all with minutes to spare before they shut 🥵

With them all fitted with only qualifying to bed them in Saturday still was a great success with finishing 6th in class for both races 6/23 🎉🙌

Next race location Silverstone!!

Coordinated down to the socks in two of her three favourite colours - Vikcy now has the matching hair! 🖤 ❤️

First time wearing synthetic dreads, playing with colours, this new client travelled from Driffield and trusted me with the placement of the black, ombre red and braid dread set she'd purchased 👌

Vikcy went for the cross braid due her own beautifully long hair, to give her that extra texture and detail in the set ✨️

Approximately 48 dreads in total - lots of doggy strokes and cat snuggles later after burning the midnight oil 🕯

Installed under the eclipse, with client intentions set to live life for the magic of each day 🌑 💖

Synthetic dreadlocs are a great way to test out the look, length, feel of dreadlocs. Playing with colours, textures, decorations and styles 💁🏼‍♀️

Not all transformations are instant...✨️

Due to to the nature of her work, rescuing, fostering, training and boarding dogs this amazing lady has a very busy schedule! 🐶

So we're locing her full head of long luscious thick hair over a series of evenings and weekends she is available 🥰

The length has given her instant lovely long locs! We're aiming for pencil thin locs and a lot of them for volume 💁🏼‍♀️

She coloured the underneath of her hair a beautiful pink which has created a gorgeous ombre effect in her locs 🖤🩷

A beautifully slow and intentional journey has begun 💖

Fairy / witchy Garden Progress Update 🧚‍♀️🧙‍♀️🌳

this year we decided to give the garden back over to Mother nature 🌿✨️

Our aim is to create a year round magical garden for us and all creatures to thrive in 🥰

it's been an absolute joy, watching all the bees, butterflies, hornets, flies and bugs 🦋 🐝🐞

our very own suburban wilderness 🪷

there's still a hanging seat to be made, seating area behind the bamboo to create and the studio to paint 🎨

On a whim weekend adventures ✨️🌿☀️ 🚐

This weekend was exactly what my soul needed 😌

A couple of days in the Peak District, near Buxton, reminded me how powerful nature can be 🌳
The quiet, the fresh air, the ancient trees, the flowing water... it all has a way of washing away the noise and bringing you back to yourself✨️

A stop at Grindleford Café for a hearty brea and rhe start of our trail, a wander through the magical woodland of Padley Gorge was the perfect reminder that slowing down isn't a luxury—it's a necessity

As someone who spends so much time squeezing everything in, locs, work, family, friends, down time, ive realised growth doesn't happen when we're constantly rushing. Sometimes we need to pause, breathe, reconnect, and let nature work her magic🌿

Lilah was living her best life 🐶☺️ And Mike got to play amongst the water and rocks 🪨
Nature has a way of making you feel child like again

I came home feeling refreshed, grounded, neutralised, and full of gratitude for the simple things 💖

✨ New Loc Care Tips for Healthy, Happy Locs ✨

Your loc journey doesn't stop when you leave your loctician.
A little consistency goes a long way. Here's how to help your locs thrive between maintenance appointments:

🌿 Wash with a no-residue shampoo. Shampoo bars are also a fantastic alternative, leaving your scalp clean without unwanted build-up.

🤲 Don't let your locs make friends! Regularly separate them at the roots to prevent them from joining together.

💆 Give your roots some love. Place the root of your loc between your index and middle finger and gently rub it against your scalp in small circular motions. This encourages the hair to knot naturally at the root.

🌀 Palm roll when needed. A gentle palm roll helps keep your locs neat and encourages them to maintain their shape.

🌊 Use a rock salt water spritz sparingly. It can help tighten your locs, but too much, too often, can dry them out. Balance is key.

🗓️ Book regular maintenance. Every 3 months for the first year, this helps them establish and is a great guideline for keeping your locs healthy, tidy, and on track.

🌱 Be patient. Locs aren't an overnight hairstyle. They evolve over time and can take up to a year (or longer) to fully mature. Trust the process.

💛 If you're unsure about anything, ask. Your loctician is there to support you throughout your journey, so never hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or concerns.

Healthy locs are built through consistency, patience, and care. Honour the journey, trust the process, and enjoy watching your roots transform. 🌿✨

What a great way to spend the weekend! 😃

This weekend I was entrusted with a sacred crown, creating full loc transformation ✨️

Not one for change this was a big leap for this gentleman, and I am privileged to have been asked to facilitate this amazing transformation following a thorough consultation, imparting knowledge, answering questions, managing expectations 👑

Starting his loc journey with synthetic locs he felt the time was right for him to take the next step on this journey 👣

He had always had long flowing hair from being young so the challenge here was to keep as much length as possible 🌿

Continually explaining the process as we went, checking in all along the way ✨️

Each loc created with care and intention 💖

Choosing the brick sectioning so the locs would sit beautifully 🧱

Roots not too tight, no painful install, no tension bumps 💙

I had such a wonderful time with this lovely interesting soul.
Lots of sharing, stories, vibing, deep meaningful conversations - can't wait to see the progress at his maintenance appointment in October 🗓
