The GP may ask you to undergo certain tests for specific conditions. If you do not follow up with your investigations your symptoms may continue or you may be missing out on important medication or diagnosis. We have a drop-in session at Cheshunt Library for any of our patients living with certain Long Term Health Conditions on the First and Last Tuesdays of the Month. Our Health and wellbeing coaches will be in attendance can help manage or reduce symptoms in some conditions along with emotional wellbeing support to help you cope with day to day living.

This Christmas, look out for the symptoms of dementia, such as irritability, forgetfulness, struggling to follow a conversation, or being confused about time and place.

If you spot any of these symptoms in a loved one, encourage them to visit their GP for an assessment. The Cheshunt memory hub runs the last Friday of every month between 10.30am and Midday where you can drop in for a chat, information and support or an onward referral. http://nhs.uk/conditions/dementia/
