This week we had the pleasure of welcoming the WI to the gardens at Cotswold Gate Care Home for their summer party! 🌸☀️

We were delighted to welcome 26 guests who joined us for a lovely evening filled with sunshine, laughter, good company and plenty of summer spirit. 💐🥂

It was wonderful to share our beautiful gardens with such a fantastic group, and we hope everyone had a fabulous time celebrating together.

Thank you to the WI for joining us, we look forward to welcoming you back again soon! ❤️

Our Summer BBQ was filled with delicious food, fantastic music, plenty of dancing and, most importantly, lots of smiles and laughter. ❤️

It was wonderful to see our residents, families, friends and team members coming together to enjoy a truly special summer celebration! 🌸🎵

🌿🌸 A lovely start to the day in the garden!🌸🌿

Brian was up bright and early this morning, enjoying some fresh air and helping out in the garden alongside our wonderful volunteer head gardener, Tony. 💚

There’s nothing quite like a bit of gardening to start the day, watering the plants, enjoying the peaceful surroundings, and watching everything grow. 🌱💧

A big thank you to Tony for sharing his gardening knowledge and time with us, and well done to Brian for getting stuck in! 👏🌼

A busy day in the Gardening Club! 🌸🍎🌿

Our residents have been making the most of our beautiful gardens today, replenishing the bird feeders and making sure our feathered friends have plenty to enjoy. 🐦

There was also plenty of time to admire the beautiful plants growing around our gardens, as well as our lovely apple tree! 🍏🌱

Did you know that all of our ground-floor bedrooms have direct access to our beautiful gardens? 🌿🌷 It’s wonderful to see our residents enjoying the fresh air, nature and peaceful outdoor spaces right on their doorstep.

A lovely way to spend the day! 💚

Some of our residents enjoyed a fantastic evening out at Burford Bowls Club with our wonderful Activities and Wellbeing Lead, Loui. 🎳💚

We had such an amazing time watching the bowls and enjoying the lovely atmosphere. The club very kindly provided us with cake and drinks, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed! ☕🍰

But the highlight of the evening was getting the chance to have a go ourselves! It was wonderful to see our residents getting involved, having fun and enjoying a new experience together.

A huge thank you to everyone at Burford Bowls Club for making us feel so welcome and for giving us such a memorable evening. We can’t wait to come back! 💕

What a fantastic Thursday we had! We were delighted to host our Rock and Roll Event alongside our sister home, Lincroft Meadow Care Home, Kidlington, at the Corn Exchange Witney.❤️

The final preparations are underway, and everyone at Cotswold Gate is looking forward to welcoming our residents' family and friends.

It's going to be a lovely afternoon of good food, live music, and spending precious time together.
