Every Sunday morning, I send one email.

It contains honest, relatable stories about what it actually feels like to be human right now, the patterns we can't seem to shake, the moments we don't talk about and what becomes possible when we stop performing and start paying attention.

One of my readers recently said "So much of what you write makes so much more sense to me, and also makes me realise I am human."

That's exactly what it's for - thanks Tracy!

My sunflowers are blooming 🌻with 2 still to open fully.
The tallest stands at 9.5ft 😃 - never have I felt so short!

It’s starting to feel increasingly like autumn but these beauties are keeping the summer vibes going a little longer.

If you’d like to come and spend some time with me in the next month or so, here’s what’s coming up:

The Pause: Saturday 10th October | 10.30am
A half day, small group immersive in the New Forest, for people who find it difficult to switch off. Together we’ll explore the anatomy of ‘On’, learn embodied practices to settle the body and mind and discover how to work with your nervous system, not against it.
https://www.neenasaith.com/thepause

Breathwork & Sunset: Friday 11th September | 6.15pm
A beautiful evening in a very small group, of consciousness connected breathing, followed by a short walk to watch the sunset across the forest. A chance to pause, breathe and reconnect with yourself as summer gives way to autumn.

And if being in a group isn’t your thing but you’d like to resolve some of the deeper patterns playing out in your life, get in touch to explore how 1:1 somatic work can support you.

The sky did not fail to deliver after tonight’s Breathwork & Sunset session 🌅 and it really is a wonderful way to integrate and ground yourself after a breathwork session. Sitting out in the peacefulness of the forest and watching the skies.

I had such a lovely evening that I’ve scheduled one more Breathwork & Sunset session, before the sunsets get too early. Come and join me on Friday, 11 September, starting at 6.15pm.

On Thursday 27 August, a small group will gather in a peaceful location in Burley for an evening of Somatic Release Breathwork, followed by a gentle walk to watch the sunset over the New Forest. YOU’RE INVITED 😃

I will guide you through a conscious breathing practice, helping you to step out of the noise of your thinking mind and into your body’s felt sense.

And then, we will head outside.

Fresh air. Forest. Sunset. Space.

An opportunity to breathe, be present and reconnect with yourself.

“I have done Breathwork before, but this was a completely different experience. The short walk to see the stunning sunset over the New Forest was the icing on the cake”. Melanie

“Blissful. Neena made it effortless to relax. My best experience of Breathwork”. Heide

“Wonderful experience, loved it and I will definitely be going again”. Miles

Knowing you’re vulnerable and FEELING vulnerable are two very different things 🔥

We’ve watched the wildfire risk build across the New Forest all summer - the parched land, no rain, the images from across the globe of other fires.

My brother is a fire risk expert and when he stayed recently we had him walk our boundary and tell us how to prepare.

So intellectually, I knew the risk was real.

Then last night, that knowing became feeling.

Watching a blaze a few miles north of us. My whole system went into high alert. I could suddenly FEEL that vulnerability on a whole different level. Lying awake and wondering what was happening, running through every scenario.

Thankfully, the incredible firefighters worked through the night and reports as I wrote this suggestion the fire is under control.

A huge thank you to everyone who works to keep residents of the New Forest safe.

A stark reminder of the very real risks.

Imagine this….you’re just about to set off on a mountain bike adventure in a Canadian forest. You nip back to your room to grab something forgotten and while you do this, a little voice in your head says ‘bug spray’. But for no reason whatsoever, you ignore that voice and race back to join your family.

Fifteen mins later, you are riding through the forest, cursing yourself for ignoring that wise inner voice, the whole family getting plagued by buzzy things that bite 🙄

I’ve learnt over the years to trust that inner voice more and more but on this occasion I didn’t. Oops 😬

But how many times do we silence that wisdom, particularly when it comes to our own needs? And sometimes we can know what we need to do, but still not take action.

On Saturday 8th August I’m running another ‘The Pause’ which is an opportunity to quieten the noise and tune into your inner wisdom.

We will immerse ourselves into nature in the heart of The New Forest and you will be very well looked after.

The afternooon will include;
- A simple introduction to the nervous system
- Guided practices to settle body and mind
- Tools you can use in everyday life
- Time outdoors in the forest (weather permitting)
- A supportive small-group environment
(And some home baked food so you don’t go hungry)

We start at 3pm and finish at 7pm. If you need accommodation then let me know.
Investment £85

Most of us have learned how to keep going.

Very few of us have learned how to truly switch off.

We live in a world that rewards productivity, responsiveness and constant connection.

So many of us spend so much of our time in a state of ‘doing’, that when the day comes to an end or we take a ‘break’, our system doesn’t easily shift into rest.

Somehow relaxation becomes inaccessible.

We find ourselves feeling ‘tired but wired’ or the opposite happens when we collapse into exhaustion.

When this continues over a long period, the risk of burning out heightens and joy starts to fade.

This is a familiar story, one I recognise in myself 10-15 years ago and one I see in so many others today.

And it’s why I created The Pause - an immersive half day experience in the beautiful surroundings of the New Forest, designed to help you rest, reconnect and restore by working with your nervous system, not against it.

We’ll explore;
- what happens in the nervous system when we are stuck in a state of constant doing
- simple embodied practices that help the brain and body move out of ‘on’
- how to integrate what you learn so you feel the impact long term (not just half a day)

If this resonates, you can book at www.neenasaith/thepause

EARLY BIRD AVAILABLE until SATURDAY this week.

Feel free to get DM me with any questions.

3 sea swims down in preparation for the Bournemouth Pier to Pier swim and it seems I have an uninvited and very unexpected partner…

Seasickness! 🤢

Having enthusiastically signed myself up back in January, the thought of ‘why the heck am
I doing this?’ has rung loudly in my head since discovering that my body is staging a full revolt of nausea and dizziness.

Being someone who typically LOVES being in the sea and has spent a lot of time in and on it over the years, I’m feeling somewhat cheated by a challenge I thought would be about physical fitness and how far I could push myself. Instead, it seems to be a test of sheer stubbornness- hunting for those tiny moments I might generously describe as ‘enjoyable’ 😂.

On the plus side, the intense focus I’m having to put into not feeling sick has also distracted me from the fear of sea creature emerging from the murky depths.
I’m also lucky to have found some lovely swim buddies, Sean and Laura (who coaches us) and they definitely help to keep me going.

This Saturday is the real thing - 1.4 miles from Boscombe Pier to Bournemouth Pier.

If you’d like to sponsor someone who is going to do this, slightly green around the gills, I’d be enormously grateful. Link below and in my story.
