The women inside of The Safe to be Seen Challenge are starting to become more visible and recording themselves which makes me feel so proud of them as I know this is huge for them!

The biggest topic coming up now though is how to stop waffling and stay focussed.

These are the tips I swear by when I’m creating reels- they keep me focussed and save me time.

If the thought of being visible on socials still fills you with dread, The Safe to be Seen Challenge is open for another 2 days if you want to join.

If I’ve just called you out, let me tell you whats really going on.

That highly sensitive and empathetic part of you who never felt seen and heard as a “weird” neurodivergent little girl…

She doesn’t want anyone else to feel rejected or not included either.

She learned to feel safe by making sure everyone around her was comfortable (even when she wasn’t)

She learned not to ask for too much because she got told off or it was pointless even trying.

That neurodivergent little girl is running your business every time you come to look at your pricing or your schedule.

So you keep your prices low to please everyone.

You squeeze clients in when you should be at home with your family.

Because the thought of increasing your prices and talking about it triggers all those wounds you’d rather not look at.

Another strategy won’t make that little girl feel better, but knowing how to feel Safe to Sell will.

And if you truly want to help those in need, you can offer scholarships or special rates BECAUSE you’re giving from your overflow.

1️⃣ Looking at who has unsubscribed from your mailing list
2️⃣ Checking your follows each morning to see how many it has gone down by overnight
3️⃣ Looking at whatsapp for the blue double tick and assuming your clients now hate you
4️⃣ Scripting conversations in your head when it comes to justifying why you need to put your prices up after 3 years, anticipating your clients are all about to walk out on you
5️⃣ Looking at competitors 5 years ahead of you and how much they charge or how many followers they have, just to convince yourself you’re not good enough or charging too much.
6️⃣ Only following similar businesses on Instagram and seeing how consistently they post must mean you’re just crap at business
7️⃣ Avoiding selling on social media because you can’t face the silence when nobody immediately buys

If any of these sound familiar as a neurodivergent wellbeing practitioner, follow along for tips on how make being visible feel less scary when you’re running a wellness focussed business and have a neurospicy brain too!
