Hello everyone, I just wanted to update you all on our family and friends support, Louise who ran that side of things for a good while and who was also a board member has stepped down from her roles to focus on other things, she’s been a huge help to us and to so many people within our community. Lisa will be stepping in as of tonight and keeping the meetings running as normal, so for any parents or family members that need a space to talk or ask questions please don’t hesitate to join our zoom tonight at 7pm. Hello everyone,
Over the last couple of months we have been meeting with a well established recovery housing organisation with the plan to set up a ketamine specific recovery home, we can all see the difference in needs between most substances and with ketamine that being said we believe those needs should be met in every area to increase the chance of long term recovery both mentally and physically and housing/ support is a huge factor within that.
if there is anybody out there that could benefit from a ketamine specific recovery home all that will be required is that your postcode is based in Lancashire and you are serious about getting or staying sober! please get in touch and we can get your information on file for when the time comes to get things off the ground. There is very limited spaces to start with but if everything goes to plan we will have more bed spaces down the line.

Last Friday we spent the day over at Elisha House Recovery Community in colne again for their young persons project, we spent the morning doing some groupwork and and sharing our experiences of recovery, in the afternoon I ran a boxing session going through some of the basics with a little game of touch sparring at the end to get everyone’s competitive side out. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, what they have built at Elisha house is absolutely amazing and although I’ve not been through the programme myself I’ve spent a lot of time around the lads who have and i can’t recommend it enough! They change lives on a daily basis 🥊

Me and Bethany Nixon have decided we are going to do a skydive to raise funds for K.E.S, I hate heights and I don’t really like planes so I’ve had better ideas but with funding getting harder to access we need to take action in other avenues and I’m fairly sure it will make for great viewing. Any donation big or small are hugely appreciated and will allow us to carry on the work we do. Thank you

Thank you to everybody that showed up today for our unity day, it was another brilliant turn out with some hard hitting and powerful messages. Thank you to everyone who shared their experience, the services that turned up to promote what they do unpaid on a Saturday, and to everyone who helped us out throughout the day. (Israh and Evie too but it won’t let me tag you), and a massive thank you to The Calico Group for covering the cost of the buffet for us 🙏
