Pat enjoyed a lovely afternoon out with our friends at Bury Rickshaw, taking a trip through town and around the beautiful Abbey Gardens. 🌸🚲

Along the way, there was time for a stop at the Greene King Café, where Pat was kindly treated to a complimentary cup of tea – the perfect addition to an afternoon out! ☕💙

It’s lovely to see our Manson House garden getting a little moment in the spotlight! 🌿💙

It may be tucked away behind our home, but it’s a space that plays such a big part in everyday life here – from morning coffees and catch-ups to family visits, activities and our new weekly afternoon teas.

We’ve certainly made plenty of happy memories out here this summer, and there’s still time for a few more! ☀️🌸

Residents at Manson House welcomed a fascinating guest speaker on Friday, Lynda Brignall from The Suffolk Hedgehog Hospital. 🦔💙

Lynda shared lots of interesting facts about hedgehogs, from their behaviours and habits to the work involved in caring for and protecting these much-loved little animals.

A big thank you to Lynda for giving her time and sharing her knowledge with us – it was a wonderfully interesting afternoon! 🦔🌿

Our very first Residents’ Afternoon Tea was a lovely success! ☕🍰

Tony invited Sonia to join him, while Russell shared the afternoon with Cynthia, enjoying a beautifully laid table, delicious treats and, most importantly, each other’s company.

It was wonderful to see residents spending quality time together and enjoying the occasion. We’re looking forward to making our afternoon teas a regular highlight and seeing who books a table together next! 💙✨

We welcomed Nik Lowe to entertain our residents – and no, not the famous one!🎶

Famous or not, he certainly knew how to put on a show, with residents singing, dancing and enjoying a fabulous afternoon of live music together.

There were plenty of smiles, some brilliant moves and lots of familiar songs to join in with. Thank you, Nik, for such a fun afternoon!

When the weather changes the plans, sometimes our residents come up with something even better! 💙

With the extreme heat meaning we sadly had to cancel our planned Beach Day at Manson House, our lovely Audrey stepped in to take us on a different kind of journey – sharing stories and memories from a holiday she enjoyed in Canada several years ago. 🇨🇦

Residents loved hearing about her travels, and it sparked plenty of conversation and reminiscing about holidays and adventures of their own.

A big thank you to Audrey for keeping us entertained and sharing such lovely memories with everyone. ✨

Our lucky Bury Rickshaw riders were Audrey, John and Claire, who enjoyed a wonderful trip around the town and the beautiful Abbey Gardens. 🚲🌸

The colourful flowers were a real highlight of the outing, and there was plenty to see as they took in the familiar sights and enjoyed the fresh air together.

A heartfelt thank you, as always, to the fantastic Bury Rickshaw Volunteers for making these special experiences possible. Your kindness and dedication help create wonderful memories for our residents, and we are so grateful for everything you do. 💙
