Very short report on how Ruby Blanc finished last weeks 6 stage race in Ireland as I know a lot have been asking how she finished.
Stage 5 on Saturday was another good day, she came over the line (in the picture below) 27th, her best finish of the race and moved up further on GC to 31st.
Other than stage 2 where some bad judgements resulted in her losing over 6min to the stage winner, she has been with the leaders until the very end of each stage.
She ends the tour a little over 8min down on the winner after 12hrs of racing. 31st out of 95 starters.
This was the first race of its type for Ruby and one that she really grew into.
She also pushed the boundaries forward a fair way in terms of our project.
The work the girls have done in all areas this year has given us great confidence and more than repaid us for the support we have given.
Commitment and riding like this makes it very easy for us to move forward and say yes more often.
Ruby now has a well deserved off season before starting work on project 2028 in November.....the project is very ambitious.....and news will follow later in the year with the details.
For now enjoy your Holidays Ruby!

What a weekend for liam.
He has had a major project in play for 8 weeks now....the project has been “operation sub 18min”
2 weeks ago he rode 18:01....and we did wonder if that was our best chance.
Since then some more specific training, some playing with helmets, nutrition and activation.
Then one last effort.
Well Saturday .....was judgement day.
The boy did not disappoint 17:48 making him the 19th fastest ever on a UK road!
Power and pacing was good but still well short of potential.
As a first year under 23 rider this is about as good as it gets. For a rider with such little experience.....its crazy fast.
Not content with that he got up sunday morning and hit his local nltta 25tt with the kids.
He smashed the course record by 2min and smashed his own ftp power at the same time!
Exceptional riding from the boy and a great example of what someone can do when they 100% commit.
Top top work Liam, a very proud 360.

Junior tour of Wales last weekend we went with ambition to bring home GC and sprint competition wins.
Fair to say both Harper and Cam got lots of support from the rest of the team.
Also fair to say that at the start of the year before race one......a lot of people would have been very surprised to see Harper and Cam coming so close.
Both of them took on board the winter programme with 360 and both of them came into 2026 with greatly improved numbers.
From race one in majorca we could see clearly the gains they had made following the plan.
As the season went on 2 bad falls and illness did for Cam.
Harper clean health and a bit of a easy period following Ireland to manage the fatigue has seen him competitive all year.
The 360 programme is 100% around rider development......we know that continued development brings results.
If not for a mechanical on stage one we feel pretty sure Cam would of won the sprint jersey.....but its also fair to say (he won't mind me saying) that experience of racing for points was needed.
Cam is a super mature lad that really appreciates the support he gets, next year after another solid winter.....a little bit more luck and a supportive team......well honestly anything is possible.
Harper has a couple more key targets this year, next week he goes UCI hunting again.
He will end the season being the number 1 ranked junior in the country and it seems harsh that he has been overlooked by British Cycling and a start in the junior worlds.
Coach Joe "Harpers attention to training over the last 12 months has been exceptional, we have done all we can.....personally I feel he is still very much untapped in terms of potential, but in a development process its key that things are done at the right time and that athletes late to structured training don't try to run before they can walk".
Both Cam and Harper are due to start our "flagship " training program alongside 10 other riders. The programme is world class and quite possibly groundbreaking at a amateur level.
Great work both and honestly we cannot wait to start the work for 2027 in November with you both.

Ras na bman (woman's tour of Ireland) update.
Ruby still holding her own and representing her team to great effect.
Queen stage yesterday with a 2.3 mile at 7.4% coming inside the last 45min.
Went deep she did hitting a 13min power pb
Still gapped from the leaders.
However she showed much better depth than we have seen before from her to hold and ride with 5 other riders all the way to the line....coming over a very respectable 1:40 down on the stage winner.

How does this sort of number compare to her previous best?
Its around 10w better at the same weight as she rode in a one off hillclimb up the struggle. But the key thing is....today's power comes after 3 days of hard racing and over 2hrs into the stage.
This is the key to riding better and faster over a long term....fatigue resistance.

2 days to go and whatever happens we have seen more than enough to know with the right continuing support Ruby Blanc can 100% progress further in the sport.

Elliot joined us around 10 months ago with a goal to be mixing it at the sharp end of Junior racing. He has just come back from an excellent tour of wales, one that we have been building towards and that Elliot executed really well.

When Elliot joined us, it’s fair to say he was a bit off the level required, but that didn’t deter him one bit. We spent a lot of time with the basics, aerobic engine and even some cadence work.

Elliot never missed a session, never sulked, and never gave up. He made massive improvements in a short space of time, with some pretty rudimental work. He’s continued in this way all year, made a massive step at the marches 3 day, where he positioned Rocco perfectly into the base of the final climb and even held on for a strong top 20 finish. And finishing infront of coach Tris who got to see the whole thing.

Since then elliot has kicked on and gone from strength to strength. Only recently incorporating some high end work, he’s been part of a team that comes away with 2nd on GC and 2nd in the points competition in the Junior Tour of Wales.

Everything this year has been well deserved and down to incredible hard work, consistency and commitment. Keep it up Elliot!

Now a bit of rest before a crack at the TLI national champs with his mate Cameron and then a full tilt at the National Hill Climb champs before winter.
