Award-winning adult day care in Staffordshire. This stemmed from our own experience in the difficulties faced when caring for a loved one.

We support older adults, people living with dementia or Alzheimer's, and adults with learning disabilities, with hot meals, transport, and person-centred care included. Havenly Care Adult Day Centre is an independent family-run, innovative adult day care centre and we pride ourselves on the ability to offer the elderly, people with dementia or alzheimers daycare services in a close knit, comfortab

le environment with a home from home feel. The centre was set up in response to a social need to provide ad-hoc, short or long term day care for the elderly, those with Learning Disabilities, Dementia, Parkinson's, their Carers and any other adult that feels they need extra support or social interaction. We now have over 30 years’ experience in working with older people. We believe the service we offer is more social therapy than day care; innovative and proven to work, with excellent value for money.

🌸 We are looking for a kind, caring and reliable Carer to join our friendly team at Havenly Adult Day Care Centre 🌸

This is a rewarding opportunity to support our elderly and disabled clients, helping them enjoy their time at the centre in a safe, welcoming and friendly environment.

💙 About the Role 💙

The position will involve:

• Providing personal care and support to our clients
• Supporting clients with their daily needs
• Encouraging and participating in social activities and entertainment
• Helping create a happy, stimulating and inclusive environment
• Assisting with meals and refreshments
• Occasionally driving a small van to assist with client transport

🕐 Hours

Part-time – 3 days per week monday wednesday friday 0800-1500 with additional overtime shared on transportation

👩‍⚕️ What We're Looking For

• A kind, compassionate and patient person
• Reliable and committed
• Able to work as part of a friendly team
• Care experience preferred but (not essential – full training will be provided)
• Full UK driving licence desirable

A huge THANK YOU to the wonderful team at St Luke’s Primary School for inviting Havenly Adult Day Care to spend a very special afternoon with you! 💙🏫

Our clients had the most amazing time meeting the fantastic staff and lovely children. 😊❤️ The afternoon was filled with smiles, laughter, creativity and connection as everyone enjoyed activities together, beautiful stone painting 🎨🪨, and listening to the incredible songs performed by St Luke’s talented school choir 🎶👏

We cannot express enough our heartfelt thanks and gratitude for such a warm welcome. 💐 Your kindness and generosity created memories that our clients will treasure.

Caring for a loved one is a privilege, but we know it can also be exhausting. If you've reached the point where things are getting difficult, you need a break, or you just don't want to send them to a care home, we can help.

At Havenly Care, we offer:
- Door to door transport to and from the centre and your home

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂, @𝗪𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲

Today we were invited to Walsall College to receive a Certificate of Appreciation for supporting their Health and Social Care students on placement. It was a proud moment for our whole team.

Every student who comes to us on placement arrives a little unsure, wondering if care is really the right path for them. We watch that change. Nervous first days turn into real confidence, and hesitant hellos turn into genuine relationships with the people they support. Some go on to build entire careers because of what they learned with us.

Supporting a student to find their calling matters just as much to us as caring for the people who walk through our doors each day. Both are about giving people the space to grow, to be seen, and to be believed in.

Lovely to meet David Wheeler, the College Principal, and the placements team we work with regularly throughout the year.

Thank you to Walsall College for this recognition, and to every student who has trusted us with a part of their journey.
