We had a great day at the Barry Blue Bowls Bash💙

Lots of fun, laughs and friendly competition whilst meeting other amazing local organisations and people in the community. It definitely got competitive at times, but all in good fun! 😊

✨ Companionship Calls Available ✨

As qualified Occupational Therapists, we know how important connection, routine, confidence, and meaningful activity are for wellbeing -especially as we get older.

We offer companionship calls for older adults, whether that’s:
🚗 Trips out for a coffee, shopping, appointments, or fresh air
🏡 Visiting at home for company, conversation, games, activities, or support getting out and about
💛 Reducing loneliness and helping people stay connected and independent

Weekday calls: £28 per hour
Weekend calls: £32 per hour

What makes this even more special is that profits go directly back into running wellbeing groups for older people in the community, helping reduce isolation and create meaningful social opportunities for others too.

Friendly, professional, person-centred support with genuine care at the heart of it.

We had a fantastic seated physical activity session at Youldon House! It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, keeping active, and enjoying movement exercises from a seated position. A fun and energising session enjoyed by all!

We had a lovely group painting session at Age Connects Café last week! Everyone painted different garden scenes, passing their papers around every 15 minutes so each person could add to the collaborative collage. It was a fun, supportive, and creative session, and we were delighted to welcome a new member to the group!

Come and join us every Wednesday at Age Connects Cafe on Holton Road, Barry 10:30-12.
