In Loving Memory of Sylvia Reynolds

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mum, Sylvia, who passed away peacefully on 25 June 2026, surrounded by the love of her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Sylvia was a devoted mum, grandmother, family member, and friend whose kindness, strength, and unwavering love touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She faced every challenge with courage and dignity, always putting others before herself and offering comfort, laughter, and wisdom in equal measure.

She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Regi, whom she missed dearly. We take comfort in imagining them together once again, with Mum lovingly keeping him in line, just as she always did.

She leaves behind a heartbroken but grateful family, who will forever cherish the memories, love, and lessons she gave us. Her warmth, generosity, and infectious smile will never be forgotten, and her legacy will live on in all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find peace in knowing that she is no longer suffering. Rest peacefully, Mum. You will be loved, remembered, and missed every single day until we meet again.

Family and friends are warmly invited to join us as we celebrate Sylvia's life on Friday, 31 July 2026. A service will be held at 11:00 am at T.F. Morritt Funeral Directors, Racca Green, Knottingley, followed by a gathering at the Progressive WMC, Ferrybridge, from 12:00 noon. We would be honoured for all who knew and loved Sylvia to join us to share memories, celebrate her life, and remember the wonderful person she was.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in Sylvia's memory will be gratefully received for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Forever in our hearts.
