The ultimate AI question… Doomsday or golden age?

It’s been a busy few days, yesterday with meetings and also calling into a Clinic already using to help them with some tweaks and advice to help them use it better.

But ultimately off the back of a number of different conversations over the past couple of months I’ll be interested to know your answer and opinion on the big red button question!

Automatic waitlist… I firmly believe that automation is the unsung hero of any software platform and also the best way in which AI can be utilised effectively.

All I have ever known is for the waitlist function in a software for Clinic Management to be clunky, cumbersome and incredibly manual which when you’re wanting to optimise time and not lose money and utilise your diary across your Clinic, is a massive thing.

A month ago now, I hopped on 3x trains and took a 3 hour trip to Altrincham to do a podcast with Jack from the Physio Matters .

One question a friend of mine asked was “why?”, what he meant was why not just do it virtually - save the journey, the time, etc.

My answer: because the details matter. In regards to a podcast - human to human engagement, body language, sound quality, coherent conversation.

This has been my approach to everything - I’m a stickler for perfection. Notara development has been no different… obsessing over small (some may say insignificant details).

I’m so proud of the clinic software we’ve built. Now time to tell the world!!

Clinic 1 () is having some internal work done at the moment - going from 6x treatment rooms to 7x

And both Clinic 1 and Clinic 2 () is having a software upgrade to my newest involvement

It’s becoming increasingly obvious that having the right team around you, enables you to do so much more. I have great managers in place in key roles that make life so much easier.

If you were hit my a bus, how would your business survive?

Just before brain surgery last year, I started to prep all of the businesses I am involved in "just in case". Some would survive, some would fall, but before being diagnosed I wasnt prepared for this question.

I am now. Processes, systems and protocols - write them down. They are your blueprint was to how to run your business.

Business, the game of chess I never knew I was playing.

Patience
Strategy
Reactivity
Ex*****on

Those four things alone, you wouldn't know whether I was talking about chess or business.

I hadn't, until last month, played chess since wet lunchtimes in year 9 & 10 at school. But after sitting and playing with my two best mates, I kinda wish I had continued playing.

I rush through life, work and ideas quick - I have never had any training on strategy or patience - in fact the latter is something I am particularly atrocious at.

Maybe a few more games of chess of the years would've taught me that...? Perhaps?!
