Consistency over intensity

When we prioritise consistency we get small marginal gains and improvement to tissue on a regular basis.

We also build a habit of doing the right thing for our bodies and become the person who does X.

If we fly out the traps and do our rehab perfectly all week and see less results, we assume it's not right or something is wrong rather than being patient.

If you want lasting results , be consistent.

💤 Sleep more, feel better 💤

Easy right?

Chances are if you are reading this you either have pain or poor sleep. Or both.

Poor sleep or sleep disturbances can dramatically vary your pain perception and make the same ache or pain one day feel 10 times worse the next.

There's several mechanisms to this but the main reason is that poor sleep results in a hyper sensitive nervous system, which is not allowed to rest properly and sensitises pain regulating parts of the brain.
