🌟 What a wonderful second half of the Summer Term! 🌟

We have had an amazing time visiting both Ridgemount Cottage Day Nursery and Little Pip's Nursery over the past few weeks.

The children have been fantastic and have really grown in confidence during our Wiggle & Waddle adventures.

Quackers has loved every minute, from visiting the Three Bears' house with Goldilocks to flying through space with The Smeds and The Smoos 🚀✨. Every week has been full of fun, imagination and magical storytelling.

Thank you to all of the wonderful children and supportive staff for making this term so special.

We hope everybody has a fantastic summer holiday, and we cannot wait to continue our adventures and share more stories together in September! 🎶

⭐️Meet Miss Alice!⭐️

Today, Miss Alice had the pleasure of leading our Wiggle and Waddle adventure at Ridgemount Cottage Day Nursery while I attended a prior commitment. 🦆🎵🎶🎵

Miss Alice is a highly trained and experienced dance teacher in ballet, Modern, Tap and Acro. She shares a passion for creating fun, engaging and magical dance session for children. She is also a proud Mum to two gorgeous boys.

I know the children and Quackers had a lot of fun with her.

Having a trusted team member like Miss Alice means that, on the odd occasion I have a prior commitment, Wiggle and Waddle sessions can continue without children missing out on their weekly adventure.

Thank you, Miss Alice, for being absolutely brilliant! Quackers and I couldn’t do it without your support.🌟

Quacker's is still visiting children this week, however he wants to make sure everyone is drinking lots of water and is adapting his wiggling to keep is feathers cool.

If any setting is closed or would like to re-arrange sessions this week please email us and we will do our best to accomedate. Our main priority is keeping everyone safe in this heat.

Last week Quackers was a superhero, helping supertato stop the evil pea. 🦸🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

All the child loved having super speed like the flash⚡️super strength like the Incredible Hulk💪🏻 and flying around just like superman soaring through the sky. ✈️

We can’t wait to find out what book Quackers will choose this week!

Props make everything a little more magical 🪄✨

We love playing peekaboo with scarves, shaking our sillies out with shakers, and swirling ribbon sticks through the air to create colourful shapes.🌈

Not only do props make movement and music even more engaging, but they also support learning, spark imagination, encourage creativity, and help children stay focused and involved throughout the session. 🎶💫

Hello, I’m Sasha, founder of Wiggle & Waddle 😊

I am a qualified dance teacher holding a Diploma in Dance Education (ISTD Modern & Tap), alongside a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education. I also hold Acrobatic Arts Module One certification and have training in aerial hoop and circus skills.

I have experience working within nurseries, progressing to Assistant Room Leader, as well as working within schools as a Teaching Assistant and Nursery Assistant. Alongside this, I have worked as a freelance dance teacher teaching children from birth through to adults.

Over the years, I have also delivered nursery sessions on behalf of other providers as a freelancer, but I have now taken the exciting step of creating my own programme, Wiggle & Waddle.

I am passionate about creating engaging, imaginative and confidence-building experiences for children through movement, music and storytelling, whilst continuing to develop my own professional skills and knowledge.

In my free time, I love spending time with my family.

Quackers had so much fun shopping for his favourite thing- BOOKS! 📚

He also managed to sneak a 🫧Bubble Machine🫧 in my basket. Cheeky Quackers 🐥but I’m sure the children will love it.

The Children at Ridgemount Cottage Day Nursery made the most amazing snow storm today. Quackers and I loved visiting- Thank you for having us!
