What we’ve been doing behind the scenes 🎬

We know we’ve been quiet for a while, so we thought we would give you an update of what we’ve been up to.

This year has been full of great events, big changes and new connections 🤝

In June, we attended the annual BABICM conference. This was an amazing opportunity to hear some great talks, learn lots of new information and connect with some great colleagues (old and new). It was a great event and a fantastic learning opportunity.

In early September, we attended The Communication Matters AAC conference in Leeds! A conference offering a diverse programme of events that brings together AAC users, their families and carers together with researchers, professionals and suppliers to learn, network and celebrate. We were able to advertise L&H AAC and AT solutions by having our own stall. This meant we were able to make some amazing new connections and provide information about us and our services to AAC and AT users.

Coming up!
We are excited to say that later this year we have more upcoming events. In October we will be attending the Collaboration in Rehabilitation conference hosted by Positive OT and Case Management, Intospeech Ltd and Healing Touch Rehabilitation. Here Laith will be a speaker sharing his story and more information around AAC and AT.
In December, we will be attending BABICMs Bridging the Future: Supporting the Transition to Adulthood for Children with Complex Disabilities conference in Manchester. Here Laith will be speaking about Moving into Adulthood: A Service user’s perspective on transitioning to adult services.
