Our carers give so much of themselves every day, often without a second thought. We wanted to give a little of that back. Suzi, our Thrive Coach, spent time with us this week helping shape our Wellbeing Days, a gentle space to pause and be cared for. There will be massages, meditation, tarot, a quiet corner to sit in, one-to-one support if you need it, herbal teas and smoothies, and a small gift bag to take home. 💜

We hope you caught the launch of our very first Walk & Talk with Sophie on Friday. 💜

This has been in the works for a little while, and we're so excited to finally share it with you.

The idea is simple: step away from the desks, get outside, and have real conversations about the things that matter. Whether it's care, wellbeing, the people behind South Coast Home Care, or what makes our team so special, these walks are all about keeping things open, honest, and authentic.

For anyone new to us: we provide hourly care, live-in care, respite care and emergency care across Chichester, Littlehampton, Worthing and the wider West Sussex area. Every visit is personalised, one-to-one support from a skilled, CQC-registered caregiver, delivered in the comfort of someone's own home. That's the heart of what we do, and exactly the topics Sophie will talk about on these walks. 💜

Walk & Talk is officially here. 💜

We've traded the office for the outdoors, because some conversations just flow better in the fresh air. Our very first episode is live now, and we can't wait for you to have a watch.

A little about us, if we haven't met yet: we're a CQC-registered home care team looking after people across West Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire, covering an area near you. Whether that's a few hours of support, live-in care, a helping hand during respite, or care at short notice, it always comes from the same familiar, caring face, someone who takes the time to really get to know the person they're looking after, in the home they love.

In this first walk, Sophie introduces Walk & Talk and gives you a little taste of what these walks are all about.

What a wonderful morning at our very first Jiggy Vintage session in partnership with Jiggy Wrigglers!

It was fantastic to see children, families, carers and residents come together to enjoy music, singing, dancing and plenty of smiles. These intergenerational sessions create meaningful connections, spark memories, and bring so much joy to everyone involved.

Our specialised diabetes care covers all of it. Care plans built around the type of diabetes and how it actually affects the person day to day, carers trained in blood sugar monitoring and medication support, help with meals, personal care and mobility, advice on making the home safer, and guidance for family members who want to feel more confident about what they are doing. Respite too, so the people doing the caring get a real break. 💜
