Dear All, I wanted to let everyone know personally my plans whilst I am still recovering. The rehab is long and exhausting but I am determined to be back. However in the mean time I am starting a Law conversion masters degree in Bristol in September. I have know idea at the ripe age of 45 if I will be able to do it or enjoy it but I am going for it and we shall see. I am determined to continue to improve enough to be able to practice again in the near future, however in the mean time Claire, Matt and Gemma are doing an amazing job, all continuing to be organised by the incredible Kate ❤️

We just wanted to say. PLEASE do not feel bad for asking for either Gemma or Matt when you make a booking for your horse. We want to make sure all your horses get the treatment you feel they need. We do need some notice though because both Gemma and Matt both run busy practices of their own and to ensure we can get them we have to book them quite a few weeks in advance. So be prepared 🙏🙏. We are trying to make good of a bad situation for Winston and want to also keep everyone happy 😁

More about Claire Wyatt- our human Chiropractor’s love for horses..

Claire grow up with a love of horses but never able to own one herself. Instead would pretend to run around the garden on a horse as a young girl. She had riding lessons as a teenager.
Her daughter also got the bug at a young age and when she grow up they were able to buy their very own horses together and now own two beautiful greys.

Animals are everything to Claire. When she is not treating humans, you’ll usually find her back at uni learning how to treat horses and dogs chiropractically, or working hands-on with dogs through massage ❤️

Just another quick video from me. I have had so many people assume I am doing well and being so positive but honestly it has been incredibly hard and without the help of my family and friends am not sure I would still be here. I am lucky also that it is just my arm and aware there are so many others out there with a lot worse injury’s ❤️

Back pain isn’t always what you think… 👀

💿 Disc pain vs 💪 Muscle spasm

They can feel similar — but they’re very different.

💿 Disc pain• Deep, sharp or aching• Can travel (e.g. down the leg)• May include tingling or numbness• Worse with sitting or bending

👉 Think: something deeper, possibly nerve-related

💪 Muscle spasm• Tight, cramping, “locked” feeling• Usually stays in one area• Worse with movement• Often eases with heat or gentle stretching

👉 Think: the body protecting itself

⚠️ Important: you can have BOTH at the same time.A disc issue can trigger muscles to spasm around it.

Understanding the difference = better treatment, faster recovery.

Ever wondered what the difference is between chiropractic and physiotherapy? 🤔

Both aim to reduce pain and improve movement — but they take slightly different approaches.

Physiotherapy focuses more on rehabilitation, using exercises, stretching and strengthening to restore movement and prevent injury.
