Our beginners sketching course starts on Tuesday 10th February from 6:30 -9:00pm at the Riverside Community Centre in Malmesbury.

It is a 6 week introduction to sketching course (10/2 =24/3).

This is great for people who want to learn to draw or sketch as a new skill or hobby, or for those who want to return to sketching.

The course will cover:

- Using Pencils to create different effects, tone, shade and light and texture.
- Drawing Shapes
- Mapping and planning a sketch
- Drawing Still Life (fruit/objects)
- Linear drawing and sketching (landscapes)

You will need to bring a set of pencils (HB, 2-6B, putty rubber, an eraser, pencil sharpener, a Tombow mono eraser (available on Amazon or in good art shops), ruler, tracing paper and an A3 sketching pad).

Each weekly session is £15 a session, or you can pay ahead for the six weeks by bank transfer to secure your place . We can take cash or card payments on arrival.

Please note that spaces are limited, we can only guarantee spaces each week if you book ahead, otherwise it will be on a first come, first serve basis for those who attend each session to pay.
