Maria is an absolute bundle of energy and positivity, whizzing between residents and kitchen/ when needed/, making sure everything and everyone is looked after!
She brings high prossesional skills, knowledge and dedication to everything, she does.
Maria’s caring nature and excellent communication skills make such a positive difference to our residents and the whole team.
Maria is chatty, funny, warm and full of personality!😊 Her infectious energy and dedication to caring didn’t go unnoticed!

What a Fantastic Summer Party!
Our Yearly Summer party was a wonderful day, filled with joy, music, friendship and unforgettable memories!
Our residents and guests enjoyed a delicious BBQ, refreshing drinks and tasty snacks, while the ice cream van was a huge hit on such a hot summer day!
There was plenty to see and do, including our residents stall, proudly displaying their beautiful handmade cards, decorated plant pots and artwork.
Our colourful summer decorations, bubble machine and cheerful atmospheres contributed even more for making the day truly magical.
It was especially lovely to welcome so many families and friends, as well as our wonderful friends from Edensor Nursing Home and the owner of our Home, Miss Djana!
A big “THANK YOU” to everyone, who supported our raffle and to everyone, who helped organise, decorate and make this event such a tremendous success!!!
Our massive appreciation also goes to IAN LOWE , who gave a huge support to us on the day and helped us to the very end of the party!!!
Ian, you are a treasure!
Last but not least least - Thank you to our good friend Tony Meloy, who kept us entertained with fantastic live music!
Days like these not only create precious memories - they strengthen friendships and remind us how important it is to celebrate LIFE together! 😊🌞🌻🌼

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful sensory experience, bringing the sights, sounds and memories of the coast right into our Home.
🌊With the soothing sound of ocean waves as a background, the residents explored an assortment of large seashells, collected from different beach destinations. They carefully examined their unique shapes, textures and patterns and heard the noise, they were keeping inside.
All these sparked curiosity and conversation and soon the activity became a beautiful reminiscence as some residents shared stories and memories of their favourite beach holidays and unforgettable travels both near and far.
It was lovely to see the smiles on the residents faces as cherished memories resurfaced.
“The ocean stirs the heart🩵, inspires the imagination and brings eternal joy to the soul”. 🌊

Our residents recently enjoyed a wonderful sensory quiz, exploring a variety of seasonal herbs and natural scents, including lavender, rosemary, mint, curry plant flowers and other fragrant garden treasures.👃🍃🌾
The different aromas sparked curiosity, conversations and many cherished memories. Some residents fondly recalled seeing beautiful
Lavender fields near their homes or during their travels.💜
Following our sensory session, we created lovely hanging lavender bouquets. 💐
They were placed in residents’ rooms to provide natural decoration, g Nile aromatherapy benefits and a beautifully fresh scent.
Activities like these stimulate the senses, encourage reminiscence, promote wellbeing and create meaningful opportunities for social interaction.💜💐

The excitement is building here as everyone gets into the football spirit!
We’ve been busy making our own homemade England headbands, singing along to some favourite football anthems, waving flags and enjoying plenty of fun with football- themed props.
The Home has been filled with smiles and lots of cheering!
With happy residents, enthusiastic staff and fantastic atmosphere, we’re all ready to get behind the Three Lions!

💙Yesterday we had a pleasure of celebrating Bills 91st birthday, surrounded by warmth, laughter and lots of good wishers. We gathered together in a beautifully decorated room to make Bills day extra special, complete with a delicious chocolate birthday cake, thoughtful cards💌, phone calls and plenty of birthday cheer.
🩵Seeing the smile on his face was truly heartwarming😊
Bill couldn’t stop thanking everyone for making him so special. It was a lovely celebration filled with kindness and cherished moments🎈

Our Housekeeper Violeta works tirelessly every day to keep our Home spotlessly clean, fresh and welcoming for our residents, visitors and team. Her attention to detail and exceptionally high standards never go unnoticed.
There is a saying around our Home: “If you can’t find something- ask Violeta”😊 She always seems to know exactly where everything is and is always ready to help.
Violeta is a colourful character, who goes above and beyond in everything she does. Her hard work and commitment make a real difference every single day, helping to create a comfortable and homely environment for all.
